Emmerson, the Moroccan-focused potash development company, wishes to provide an update regarding the approval of its updated Environmental and Social Impact Assessment ("ESIA") for the Khemisset Potash Project ("Khemisset").

As previously announced, Emmerson had been invited to submit the updated version of its ESIA application supported by the new benefits of Khemisset Multi-Mineral Process ("KMP") to the Centre Régional d'Investissement of the region Rabat-Salé-Kénitra ("CRI") for review by the Commission Régionale Unifiée de l'Investissement ("CRUI").

Emmerson has been made aware that the CRUI has made an unfavourable recommendation regarding the approval.

Emmerson has not received formal notification of a decision and is seeking clarification regarding both a decision and the unfavourable recommendation. Emmerson is reviewing the available regulatory and legal options with respect to an appeal and assessing its next actions.

The Company will provide further updates in due course.

This has been in a OBVIOUS downward trend since early September when it was 22p!

The next support level is around 10.5p and, unless something drastically changes, this price is mostly likely going to be hit in the next few days/weeks. Unfortunately I do not think it will stop there and this will probably go sub 8p if the 10.5p level is breached - at which point I will probably put in a speculative BUY order.

Just tried to buy 14,000 at 11.5p and the price moved to 12.70p (DOH!!!)

Has anybody tried to buy these as normally there's not much stock around - couldn't even buy 10K of stock last time I tried

I bought into this recently (because I thought the Mcap didn't reflect the asset value) and sold at a loss the DAY BEFORE the disastrous fund raise (more through luck than skill) but I didn't like the fact they had a warehouse full of inventory and weren't shifting stock!

Unfortunately, I think this will slide further without news and could easily end up around the 0.21p level and which point I may look at it again as a speculative punt!

But a truly shocking destruction of shareholder value by management over a few short months makes me cautious that this could ever be turned around again under present management.

Bizarrely, the FIRST rebound resistance level is 110p - if it manages to sustain this level for any length of time then there's no reason for this not to climb to previous highs!

As I said previously, I will be a buyer at 90p for an exit hopefully in excess of 140p over the next 2 years (unless something dire happens)
