Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi Scarlett, I agree a great company for the reasons you've given.
Funding needs sorting, I'm sure many like myself are holding and will be more inclined to add once some of the risks surrounding funding are resolved. Your buying at these levels has the potential to be very fruitful - good luck.
Hi Scarlett, that's a daft question you ask about posting on all chatrooms. I don't invest in all AIM shares - only companies I believe could provide a good return and I don't post on chatrooms for shares I'm not invested in.
Sorry but there is a change since the 14th November - 22nd January RNS clearly states (hence the drop off from 1.7p upon release of the RNS):
The Company continues to experience significant constraints on its working capital however the Board believes that the available cash runway will continue to support the working capital requirement of the Company until the end of April 2020. As a result of this, as previously announced, the Board is seeking to secure alternative funding in the near future which may or may not be forthcoming.
Note "seeking to secure alternative funding" - I read alternative as meaning not Midcap.
I have high hopes for my investment here, but I do not like blinkered positivity or recommendations of "strong buy" in highly risky situations.
Hi Scarlett, I am not making any claims, just raising my concerns around the risks here.
I would respectfully also suggest that the market doesn't seem to agree that having concerns around funding is being dramatic - hence the incredibly low Mcap we are now sitting at.
I haven't raised my concerns with the directors as I'd expect them to share any information on funding via an RNS.
Best wishes.
I don't think many would agree that this is a strong buy whilst we desperately need news of how the company is going to continue to exist as a publicly listed entity.
Of course the ip is fantastic, the risk here is that the company will be made insolvent and the ip transferred to private hands as is all too common on AIM - the pi pays for all the hard work and is then robbed at the last hurdle.
As I have stated previously I want to see a placing done asap then I'll be happy that pi's aren't about to get shafted here.
It was the corporate update with the reiteration of the need for funding which drove us down from 1.7 to low 1's. (The cyber attack then added to the down trend.)
I agree that once funding news is sorted we should start to move up.
Best wishes.
The only reason we are still trading at this ridiculously cheap price is that the market is expecting a fund raise at 1p, once that fund raise is done we’ll be trading much higher within a matter of weeks. Hold onto your shares and expect double figures here medium term.
I'm much happier now this report has been RNS'd (which it obviously didn't have to be).
It suggests the company are actually serious about refinancing and that we are not going to disappear into private hands.
I like the company and believe in it's potential so view today's development positively.
The big mcap will come - we are a prime takeover target.
The steadier the ship becomes, the higher the price will be.
Again - my view is we need to steady the ship ASAP, by whatever means.
Sorry to restate again and again, just want the potential to be realised here.
