I don’t think I or anybody needs to become a clinical trials medical officer to realise some side effects aren’t as bad as all the side effects. I mean I suppose if you were having lifestyle choice chemo, with no cancer then some side effects could be annoying but even then it would still be better than all the side effects
Fine you die happy with unblemished arthritis that’s your choice. I live having cut off a finger or five. Promising recorder playing career out the window. It’s great that we will shortly live in a world with that optionality
Given the risks you’ve outlined SB I’d say the risk/reward is outstanding at present. The clinical progression of the precision platform appears procedural. At worst a 10% dilution to fund trials until pay dirt is hit. The market may not ever ‘get it’ but there’s plenty of Big Pharma that do. Remember it’s not just Al Smith who’s reputation is as stake when he says the Platform is validated it’s the whole board of Avacta and the clinicians across the Uk and US, would they be continuing with the trial if they were disagreeing with any of the companies statements? Of course there’s the risk of the ‘unknown’ which is why I haven’t sold my house and put it all in, but risk/reward wise this is a great opportunity
It’s just my favourite theory about what’s going on, it explains the ‘some of C7’ comment. So possibly C6 is running 2-3 more rounds. C7 has commenced and the data from all of P1a is being collated. If and when C6 mimics C5, it’s data and what has happened so far in C7 is tacked on the end then bingo, P1a data readout.
