I love the innovation of this company, but i cant quite work out what this is for. Anyone care to explain why a building would have boards on the roof?
As said previously, it really puts into perspective how insignificant the lost profit and revenue really is.

I imagine a floating wind farm would have greater requirements for cable protection that even a static windfarm. Do we know if the one in the article uses Tekmar products?
Also, does anyone know when we can expect a trading update? 31st of March is the end of H1, so it would be nice to get some clarity on how the business is doing before the results at the end of june.
"Tekmar Energy has completed the swift supply of Bend Restrictors to a long-standing customer to protect a subsea cable joint in the Mediterranean. The systems were delivered from Tekmar Energy's production facility in the NE of England within three weeks of receiving the order." https://twitter.com/GroupTekmar/status/1376857238472695808
No idea how much its worth, but its a really impressive stream of constant sales, that to me prove Tekmar is still a major market player.
Im looking forward to the results/trading update.
"These security concerns, compounded with the impacts of COVID-19 and extreme weather, have led to delays to the overall energy related project in the region and to the suspension of our contract to build and operate an 1800-person camp"
Does this mean RA have suspended operations? Or the Contract was suspended by the hiring company?

The Mozambique country manager for RA International is missing.
"These security concerns, compounded with the impacts of COVID-19 and extreme weather, have led to delays to the overall energy related project in the region and to the suspension of our contract to build and operate an 1800-person camp, where an extension of our initial 2-year tenancy contract is under negotiation. Given the escalation in hostilities in the area in recent days, the directors of the Company now expect there will be further delays in the project that are likely to impact on the overall financial performance of the Company in the current financial year. This impact is expected, at the current time, to be up to USD 10m of revenue"
The worry was they announced competitors entering the market.
I think its clear from the recent number of contract wins that tekmar are still easily top dog though. Theres another announcement on their twitter today.
I was also a bit worried about their really narrow profit margins and a focus on growth rather than profitability. But i think the new ceo is a manager rather than an innovator, so hopefully Tekmar can turn seriously profitable in the near future.

1200 drops bags and some tooling. Two separate contracts.
What type of funding are you expecting?
I expect them to benefit, but indirectly.
I totally agree though, im really looking forward to the next set of results to see exactly how much £ of contracts they have won.
Are you saying they are lying?
I dont care if its RNS or not, i want to build a big stake, i dont want the shareprice going to the moon in 1 month.
As long as the orders are real it will end up on their published financial statements.
So youre bearish on the stock but would still be prepared to buy it if it fell 15%?
You are aware there is plenty of news from Tekmar if you go on their website? https://www.tekmargroup.com/category/news/
In fact one of the reasons im so bullish is because of all the recent news of contract wins.
