Threeputt, thats getting on for one of the most ignorant responses ive seen on a forum.
Somero is down over 30% from its high, despite a trading update that revised earning yet higher.
During the same time the ftse all share is down 10%, an index full of companies far more exposed to events in Ukraine!
Egg, to answer your question, i am not sure what has caused the SP weakness. Its not justified. Im sad ive had no money to top up at this low, but am already very exposed to Somero (50% of portfolio) so its probably for the best.
Im looking forward to Wednesday. 60%+ RoE? 10 trailing P/E? 7% Dividend yield? Here's hoping.
As a counter weight, i sold all my position in early Jan when it became apparent that the multiple contracts that were suggested were in the bag for December, hadnt been won. And the "exciting news" was just a website revamp..
Im sure im not the only one who sold on this info!.
Also, for a while now simply wall street had been forcasting 2021 to be a lower revenue and profit year. I dont know where they get their analyst estimates from though.
From Facebook.
Last weekend, Somero took part in the Tilt-Up Convention & Expo in St. Louis. Always great to connect with our customers! Hi all,
As of this morning, im out.
I like Tekmar and i wish you all the best, but im no longer confident on their chances of success.
A company like Tekmars shouldnt be seeing substantially reducing revenue and cratering profit in such a hot sector.
Plus, they have this grand plan for growth over the next few years that they plan to fulfill with free cash flow, except they currently dont have any.
I suspect there is a good chance of share holder dilution by the end of the year, all in persuit of a strategy that may not succeed.
Again, good luck all. If they can turn it around there is the potential of a huge upside, but too much risk for me.
Losses cut (some of my TGP was bought for more than £1)
Its very wierd how this companies stock has reacted to what feels like a constant stream of contract wins.
I feel bullish but this constant selling is giving me serious doubt.
Like you both, ive got a small amount of money on the side that i will be chucking at tekmar on tuesday if it looks promising.
