I agree, they needed to get ahead of it and calirfy the situation, in my comment I was more referring to an RNS talking of delay, I think this one should be okay and hopefully we see a reversal from yesterdays drop, not hoping for any major rise yet though

News sooner rather than later is always better in the AIM world, can't imagine an RNS in regards to diamonds untill signing is completed and confirmed at this point though, I feel like another RNS about diamonds without the actual signing would be more detrimental than helpful at this point. An operational update on BP would be nice though, with china lead times and and milestones for going forward

I mean theres not currently anything to suggest as much so I'm not sure why you'd think they would have someone else lined up. Information like that tends to leak out pretty easily moreso in places like zimb.
IMO the news will come but the revision to the agreement last week might have been on reason for the delay and the structure may now need agreeing and going back through the process again. Would hope for news at the very latest end of next week, untill then we will drif downwards till we get one of the 4 updates we was promised months back.

Don't think people are talking themselves out of a share, just speculating why such an article could be written and the entire situation misconstrued in such a way

Depends, i can't find any main stream media with the same story and if that article was published this morning it might be the 10% down day, even that is a big drop to be accounted for just by a no news day

But also doesn't look good for the pres that its worded that VAST went behind their back and passing it would promote corruption

Wouldn't surprise me, negative press doesn't help but I guess the deal seems to benefit some higher ups so you'd think there would be pressure to get it through asap with minimum fuss

I don't get what you mean to be honest, original plan was VAST to self fund it anyway wasn't it? BOD are there purely on an advisor basis and this is what the share grant pays for so why would they stump up any operation costs?

BP is on its way by all accounts which should see a nice rise once it hits production

The issue is that saying something is fully funded multiple times then creating a placing at such a important milestone at such a discounted price doesn't give any confidence out to PIs whatsoever

Lets see what this week brings in terms of news, slightly fustrated we are over 6 weeks late on the proposed signing date but maybe they decided to wait untill all the details with BOD were ironed out to give Zimb a clearer picture of how things will look? I feel like the share price isn't realising the true potential of BP immeniently coming into some sort of production stage and the noise and uncertainty isnt helping.
Either way it was nice to see some clarifaction on twitter that the picture of the machine posted was a refurbished one to get things moving while they wait on the new equipment to arrive from twitter. However you would have thought that would have been made in clear in the original post.
Hopefully we get a AT LEAST an operation progress update on BP and Zimb this week or next.

Noticed that but i guess they weren't particularly constructive for the most part. Either way nice to see some progress going on. Sure the drill looks 2nd hand but why not do some cost saving now if it'll do the job without issue?

Seems to like a thursday RNS so maybe next thursday we get a opertional update or the MOA?

Love a good "wouldn't want to be out over the weekend" pitch. Wouldn't want to be out of this next year but honestly don't see this realistically moving for a least a week or 2 depending when we get initial flow rates and how good they are
