Mucker007, there are air quality monitors seemingly everywhere. They post the results daily. It’s appalling. Usually outside safe limits. They moan constantly but the token effort is an electric bin wagon that can only work near the depot. I’ll mail the M.P........might get some interest this week.

Maybe Sheffield should buy hydrogen buses then and do theirs with ITM hydrogen because I went through the centre last week( walking) and almost couldn’t breathe. Buses idling in queues by the side of the road were toxic. What a winner hydrogen is!

Yes. Even though the network is constantly being reinforced the constant adding of load with new build keeps up. It’s like painting the Forth Bridge. Overlay a large piece of network in bigger cross section cable, losses are reduced, then someone adds a new estate and up goes the load. Solar has not helped. On good days the network gets assistance but then at night and on grim days it loads back up. At this time of year it’s a pain. So, for me, hydrogen from renewables is the winner. On excess days you can store it and use it as and when. Much more flexible.

I can only see trades up to just after 15:00. No after hours or u/t trades.

It was as I drove past, but it looked like about 6. I don’t know of any more in that area. All the ones queuing were sat with lights off and obviously freezing in the cars. I believe they are free to use there too.

I went to Meadowhall last night shopping. All the ev points were full and people were queueing 5 back to get one.:-)))

I’m not sure people understand that share are long term unless you’re a daytrader. This one can stew a bit longer for me. Each time palladium rises so does the value of the company. Bonus for all. :-)

Called in to system design at work an hour ago. Basically the networks are not up to it. All the transformers would need upgrading. Protection would need upgrading and the low voltage network would melt. So it’s not viable.

Roughly...each depot with say 10 trucks charging overnight would destroy the network operators system that fed it. I’m visiting my old employment today so I’ll ask a network design engineer to do the calcs out of interest. I’ll post it this aft when I’m back.

The biggest positive for me is the TBM speed. If it’s managed 40m per day since the picture came out of the speeded up train then it could be a quarter of a mile further by the end of this week. Less risk day by day.
