dont think it will be out of the ftse 100 for long, as many countries are lifting restrictions on travel already. its coming back towards normal faster than I anticipated.

hi greshamstreet, well thought out post. My gut feel is 40p region would be well oversold and unlikely considering economics worldwide should slowly improve as lockdown lifts. Opti should benefit from this. I wouldn't be surprised to see some good support coming in soon as more serious investors snap up cheap stock. However still early days but certainly opti is not overly short of funds or ways to raise them if req.
Cannot moan about the 900 odd percent increase for the first quarter or so either.
We always see "sell the news" brigade out in force, and today no exception. Many of these investors/traders have been in and out more times than a cheap tart on a good nights punting .

ahh yes got it..I see we have a few heavy one off costs, also paying staff for months after they left... that might not have been on good terms.??

good prices sheep hatch, suspect the sells we saw on Friday had nothing to do with company fundamentals..it was just grab a profit.

think things are coming back to normal faster than we thought, most governments have now built extra facilities and have ventilators on order and standby so can afford a little more easing and the rise in infection that must undoubtedly follow.

Well I'm just been for a bike ride and local south coast beaches are rammed..certainly no parking spots left in the car parks, and the groups sitting on the beaches are just that..big groups not one or two people keeping isolation. Who can blame them..the example has been clearly set.
And saying "keep out of the water" joke, saw two swimming clubs swim past, jet ski's and canoe's along with paddle boards and lilos. . Clearly everyone is enjoying themselves as they normally would.

We saw 180k or so stock sold down at the end of last week. Certainly enough on any day to make a substantial difference in share price especially with a relative low liquidity stock like opti. However is does offer a more attractive entry point for investors either new or topping up existing holdings. Wouldn't be surprised to see those sellers poised over the keyboard come Monday ready to buy their holding back if they are able to make a few bob out of it.
Market sentiment for this stock is still highly positive, fill your boots.

yes agree, however we both know mr.market does tend to find balance eventually, although often holders like myself sometimes overlook the reasons for lower values than they expect them to be.
Find its often because they have completed their research and a lot of other investors do not..they wait to see "actual results", not what "we expect to happen".

The podcasts and information boards play nicely into the hands of the traders, those lumpy seels we saw were positioned right at the breakthrough resistance point aimed at maximising profit for those selling and causing the price drop. Excellent place to put them. Believe we certainly have a few traders who milk information from those kind enough to inform us. Its then used for personal advantage.

Steady buying pressure again today, with not much free float about, can see this going a lot higher, breaking through the resistance point as well..

im buy on the bell suspect price was walked down to fill.

slow steady rise taking place, the sells that do pop up as the price gently rises just ease the liquidity pressure. Just the way I like to see a stock rise....and I have nothing to sell short of £2.

couldn't agree more , well under the radar but use it to your advantage. Know quite a few holders who have really stuffed their boots with this stock, so thats the reason whty the price will rise on low volume...good core of strong holders with strong hands.
When the nasdaq launch happens it will most certainly rise, so take advantage sub £1 while you still can.

Large iceberg sell sat at 18p.

Certainly more upside than downside. Have taken a modest position this morning. Nice share to hold and been on my watch list for a while now.

Yes the prices went well into oversold territory, however mr.Market did go into full panic mode as the shops became empty of all goods and infections seemed to be getting out of control. It wasn't just opti stock as many investors "ran for cash".
However the fundamental thing thats changed from the last time we were over a quid is the money is coming in from multiple sources now..its not "likely to come in from multiple sources".
Great investment for anyone entering now for sure.

Think a staggered rise to three figs and beyond is pretty well nailed on, Now seeing income flowing in fast now, near on 1000% annual increase is not small beer, and with market size could easily repeat itsself in another year as well.
However this is no flash in the park, and the revenue keeps growing, which with multiple deals makes this a great lower risk stock so happy to invest more.

and a large deal at that, opti products (gummies) to be sold now in 1500 walmart stores in the states rising to 3k stores in Sept.
