ODX and GAD will not be the only ones manufacturing and selling the Mologic test.

It would be very nice if it is. Most important for me, it validates the test as the gold standard. People getting hung up on values of this or that contract - money is a product of a successful solution. If you develop and validate a gold standard product in the market, we’ll be using the calculator in landscape.

Rolly - Avacta is not a diagnostics company, and not just producing COVID tests. It can’t be compared to ODX, not even on contract terms. They’ll be completely different.

We’ve been working with Mologic for months developing AffiDx. Do you think conversations were not had on working with HMG? The relationship is clearly very good.

I don’t think the relationship would be that good if they had been lined up as sovereign behind the back of Avacta. Especially, as of the presentation, we were still in active discussions to use their manufacturing capacity.

Thanks Rolly - there has been no ‘news’ for nearly 6 months. Until CE lands, and we have orders arriving, it’s sentiment based movements that have driven us to this crescendo. Granted, test performance news has derisked the investment.

Any order will see investors develop even stickier hands, forcing the SP north. Regardless of the value.

If I were the government, I would choose GAD over ODX - they’re driven by price.

They’ve loaned ODX equipment to reduce overheads in that £374m contract, diluting it’s potential share holder return.

The 30m U.K. capacity has been setup to deliver LFT’s for the UK. It will be used as soon as ready imo. The selected test will be selected any day, then Innova will be moved on.

It would be nice, but I feel unlikely. I just don’t think it’s as big news for everyone else as it is to us.

They should be bothered about the drop off in performance, when comparing Mologic and Avacta. But clearly won’t be bothered if Mologic is half the money.

The use case will be exactly the same. Open up workplaces and the economy. The requirement is exactly the same, therefore should be using the test that allows the most efficient route to maximising this benefit.

Having tests targeting different proteins is not a valid reason until either fails to detect a variant. Performance will not be improved, it only adds redundancy.

We can speculate all we like, but it’ll come down to price.

What benefit would there be in using two tests?

If I was Avacta, why would I engage in a JV when you reputation is at risk using the inferior Mologic test? This programme needs to be consistent.
