Croda news has been ‘next week’ for 6 months. The market now want data, which is unlikely to materialise this side of Easter, IMO.

The point is Nick, if he communicated to investors outside of a paywall (still amazes me) it would hold more weight and could do a better job of filling in the gaps to a wider and much broader audience.

We, as PI’s shouldn’t be given the time of day by a CEO if we contacted him directly.

The SP is mega frustrating. We are invested to make money, if we had the benefit of hindsight we’d have traded the drop. Good luck to those who succeeded.

Thing is, nothings changed. The LFT ramps have fell, we’ve been punished for AS’s over commitment and awful communication. The market has answered him with the SP.

We have;

Affimers proven in a operationally compliant diagnostics business that is about to take off.

AVA6000 half way through patient dosing, with an FDA IND.

Streets ahead of where we were 18 months ago. The only (most important point!) missing link is delivery. I believe we have the foundations to do this without the ramps. We have the infrastructure and products to lead the market.

I hate to say it, but patience is required in an awful market.

The diagnostics side of the business, ie LFT sales is driving the SP in the short term. Rightly, or wrongly. AS brought the majority of PI’s into the company based on his LFT positivity.

Massive positive is that the therapeutic business has stealthily developed its foundations. To repeat; we’ve had an external regulator (FDA) assess our early AVA data, and they’re happy. Fingers crossed dose escalation occurs before Christmas - this will provide the pivotal movement to the SP, despite LFT sales.

HUA arriving in the next weeks, will move us away from being perceived as a ‘risky’ play, with lots of potential, to delivering on promises. This is what the market wants, and I believe will get.

It’s an atrocious market at the moment, which should be used to contextualise the drop. The business is great.

Researcher1 - Agree with most of your commentary, but the RNS is less than solid. Nothing new. Could have been worse if not for the placing.

Like I’ve mentioned; The only positive is that this now grounds expectations and rampers and we see a reduction in false prophets.

Needs filtered. Easiest. Solution.

Isn’t it funny how a select few can steal the narrative and turn it toward funding and placing. The bishop has been trying to enable this rot for weeks.

Hi Belgrano - I’ve never once expected sales, or attached any expectations to the share. How could they be, having only launched a few weeks ago?

Hypocritically, you have continued to ramp expectations outside of what is expected.

Anon - key point re sales and updates. This goes back to my point made earlier this year about putting faith in third party updates that have been tailored to suit a positive narrative.

The product and monetisation strategy is very good. As is the CEO. My hope is that this update will ground a few people and we can focus on steady growth.

The cash position is worrying. Bolstered only by the raise.

Croda update is being pushed back further than the ramping on this board would have had most believe. This was imminent weeks ago, now jam.

Fantastic to launch early and gives us the opportunity to see revenue in early 2022.

Mr R - sensible view. I’m convinced that the LFT will bring those life changing gains much sooner than 5 years, more like the next 2. I’m also cautious - but very optimistic.

Thing is, if it fails, which we’ll know around Christmas time, the ramps will come back to haunt AS. They’re killing the SP as we speak. LFT news lands, it’ll ignite the belief that Avacta can commercialise (at scale).
