The purported new owners have to acquire a significant amount of shares (paying up front) and then convince the existing board to play ball with them while they take over. In this instance the important figure is what the new owners had to pay per share to acquire control.

With the new boss investing his own money I decided to dip my toe back in, hopefully turn my 1k back into 5k lol
