but if the ppl here are all anonymous, then how does the defamation apply?
Do you reckon that it's possible to influence them to be more energetic?
I'm not saying that that's necessarily the way forward, but it probably won't hurt.
I was watching an investor presentation done by the CEO of a medical company that specialises in testing/data etc, and that guy is known to enjoy regular communication with shareholders. At some point, he said that he might do a presentation once a month because he had feedback from shareholders that they liked to be updated.
It might be that he's in an industry that has a quicker pace, but was just thinking that there ARE those out there who believe in regular comms with shareholders.
Wonder if it would work for PANR?
Good to see a steady price rise. Our neighbours are seeing more dramatic movements, but I'm hoping ours is more sustainable.
It's a Marathon and not a Sprint, eh?
As an England fan, I've patiently waited for it to happen... and now it has!
The waiting time for PANR to perform has been relatively short so far, but I'll keep the faith - just like I did for England, and I'm sure at some point, PANR will also thrash the Germans and knock them out of a tournament!
Come on PANR!!
There's only one PANR!!
Yes, according to the charts, we've had a few days of reasonable volume, which I'm guessing is down to more investor awareness from the Roadshows. I've actually noticed some good work from investors on Twitter as well - there's even a PANR Fan account, so well done to those who are creating the buzz for this potentially life-changing investment.
How about this - what other oil exploration company is out there that can rival PANR for potential oil in the ground?
...let's just make an attempt to make it more "fun" then....
Or just start the banter going.
Can leave ADVFN to be the place where technical discussions take place, and let this be the place to give the new guys an idea of the BILLLIONS AND BILLIONS of barrels of oil that PANR are sitting on!
Hi - yes, I've said before that I think that it would be good if activity was higher on this board cos I'd guess that this is where new investors come to see what's going on.
We can make a difference though!
Ppl like to mention the "other" chat boards, but I reckon that this one shouldn't be neglected.
.....move to above the pre-April share price!
Dare I say it - rockets from here?
09:43 - Hi - regarding your comment about "is the SP ......... being prepared for another placing to pay for the next drilling campaign?"
What do you mean by this?
I've seen others make similar comments but unfortunately, I'm not familiar enough with this sort of thing to know what's going on. Presumably, your comment links what you've mentioned to this current share price rise, but how does that even happen?
(for example, are you saying that the company are doing things to increase the share price, such as buying lots of shares on the market? But if so, what's the link to another placing to pay for the next drilling campaign?)
Just out of interest, if there is a big buyer mopping up the shares, wouldn't there be an announcement about that? I guess that perhaps the amount that they've "mopped up" needs to break a threshold though.
Whatever the reason for it, I hope it's a solid reason - these share price movements look more positive than just usual business-as-usual trading activity
Well, maybe the way to change that is to discuss stuff a bit more!
Why do we think that the share price has gone up by 8% this morning?
Good luck, StevenWest - I'm down by quite a bit on OEX, and not really all that willing to average down. However, as others have said, this could come good at some point. Wishing you the best with this share, cos we'll be riding this train together!
Thanks - good stuff about the historical drills etc and info about what's coming next.
11:47 - I agree. Everyone has their own opinion, and you're not going to keep everyone happy all the time. These competent CEOs have demanding jobs and you'd hope that they have their company's interests at heart, and will do their best to guide their subordinates to the best outcomes. On the other hand, they also have to deal with some anonymous shareholders whose opinion is that, since they own shares in the company, they have a right to question how the CEO does things and demand answers to their qns. I'm not saying that those shareholders are wrong to think that, it's just that I'm sure that the CEO has more important things to worry about etc.
Whenever anyone says anything about Farallon, someone eventually will mention that there are a group of investors who are thinking of making a deal to buy their shares.
However, nothing ever seems to come out of it. This is the first time I've heard a break-even value for them though. Wonder if knowing that makes a difference - ie, could those mythical group of investors offer them >28p to take them off their hands?
I have a qn - according to the trades link above, someone paid 10p for 100 shares at 14:00:01.
There are other trades on there that are less than £5.
Just wondering if anyone knows if there's a way for us to trade with either zero or very low costs to enable us to do that, or are those trades some sort of auto-transactions done by "regular savers" or whatever.
15:04 - perhaps to "get it onto an isa" he has to sell the shares that he already has (presumably in a normal trading account) and then subsequently buy them again in his ISA account. A Bed-And-ISA transaction?
Looks like there are two transactions showing up of 16mil+ on the trades link above, so maybe that's what's happened.
Showing up as "sells" cos the algorithms just guess what the transactions are.
Ah right, I've just noticed his qn about COPL at 11:13.
11:34 - think that that was meant for COPL.
11:26 - I think that when you're up several 100K and you don't sell, you're probably wealthy enough. It's also hard to time it right, so who's to say that he won't get back up to £650K + at some point in time.
I was lucky enough to take some money out of 88E when it was at 95% of the high recently, and then subsequent withdrawals were at 80% and 50%. If only I knew eh?
At the time, I assumed that it would go way higher due to the frenzy, but the poor news meant that the withdrawal at 50% of the high was necessary.
Anyway....
