Some really good posts this evening but some dross from the trolls whilst reading at work today which got removed and I wonder why lol.

My question is and this is to the very LTH here,when ExxonMobil did a jv with COPL for Nigeria a few years ago what (if you can all remember?) What was the sp price before the Jv was announced and what did it max out at?

Obviously for me only been here post suspension for atomic but the fundamentals now are completely different as copl are now producing and have the billion barrel find minimum rather than years ago when copl were an explorer.

Thanks for any answers received as I was just trying to gauge what the market would do if and hopefully when the jv is announced.

It will go to a shareholder vote to say yes or no they can't just force a take over.

Basically because when the RBL gets sorted COPL pay off all the debt to the bond holders/lenders and they basically have no bonds.

Which is why myself and duster this morning were thinking the same,why convert 2024 and 2025 bonds if they didn't think a jv rbl is incoming.
