Hannam attributes $540M to GGP for Havieron, but I wonder how far that's actually out?

Newcrest has for the last five years, runs with $500M to $800M in free cash.

But now they have $1.4bn.

So Newcrest has between $600M to $900M available to attribute to GGP for Havieron.

Wasred, there's nothing wrong with your calculations apart from they just aren't calculated that way,.
For an example: Ernest Giles project calculations, the volume of strike X g/t whatever way that's calculated it comes to 20-30M Oz of gold and it's nowhere near it. Best left to the experts IMO.

But we could use Hannam's calculation and then add by percentage to include increased amount.

Interesting article, their (out of date) estimate of 4.4M Oz of gold which is a major gold find. Ramper's were quoting upto 30M but it's very difficult to come up with a proper calculation, looking forward to seeing the real Maiden Resource Estimate from Newcrest.

GH has been caught out before, big time with Ernest Giles.! The fact that he remains silent is a very big positive sign that Havieron doesn't actually need extra ramping as the results will speak for themselves.

I bought in straight after a 500% rise at 0.62p, just over two years ago.! Recently sold my first tranche and paid my mortgage off. People back then were also saying 30M Oz and coming up with similar calculations, (Havieron a lot better drill results though) it's made me sceptical about estimations as Ernest Giles didn't work out.

It's a lot simpler to work out how much is priced in today's Shareprice and let Newcrest come up with their MRE/Cash.

I think it's far more complex to calculate than volume X g/t = Oz and extraction/process costs would also be Newcrest specific.

The mean average of the last drill results was 2.76g/t that's commercial grade 100%.

The Maiden Resource Estimate (MRE) will do all our calculations for us and the following Shareprice will look after itself.
