It's a strange world where it's cheaper to order a takeaway meal than cook one yourself but that won't last long! Retail sales are plunging and discretionary spending could halt completely. It might even become fashionable NOT to spend money. Is it possible for an Economy to disappear up its own rectum?

I would never dream of having a takeaway delivered so good luck with Just Eat! Surely the Cost Of Living Crisis will have a huge impact on everything retail? Maybe people will suddenly decide to stop having food delivered? It could happen almost overnight. The crisis has barely started - I'm expecting EVERY retailer to see lower revenues and coupled with a huge rise in costs they may well all be posting losses within 12 months. I remain invested in MCLS in anticipation of a takeover by a bigger company with a long-term view.

It always has been a dormant company until GLEN suddenly hears the alarm clock! They are betraying their shareholders by not maximising shareholder value in the Zanaga Project. Years ago I said I envisaged ZIOC as a piece of paper in a filing cabinet in the corner of a disused office and since then the dust has accumulated further. According to extrader the founders made all their money after the IPO but I can't believe they're not interested in making more!

...yet ZIOC remains my second largest holding. Now I'm looking for a chest of drawers with a particularly optimistic bottom drawer. Obviously, anything could happen and I'm currently hoping for £3 per share rather than £2 as I want to buy a very nice house on Dartmoor for £985k.

In days of yore my comment would've been buried under several pages by now - dissidents must be ignored at all costs! Yes, BEN has done well so far but timing is everything! It's still my largest holding but one day it won't be! You can't just buy a share and expect it to permanently deliver - shares are for buying and selling!

Why I'm so cautious about BEN is I remember CHAR many years ago when a very believable messiah sucked a lot of people into losing a lot of money. Didn't his first disciple become so confident he exchanged holding shares for spread-betting and lost all his money? Only recently, ADV has crucified punters who believed there was gold at the end of the rainbow. BEN remains my largest holding so I'm happy to jog on and close the door on my way out knowing I won't be missed.

I finally sold out this week and used the proceeds to increase my holding in ORCA by 163%. Maybe I'll regret my decision - I dunno! LBE has been a disastrous investment for me but good luck to everyone still holding and not folding. It's a shame the BOD didn't do what they said they would do and now the SP is where it is. As for future success: tiny percentages of successful oilfields are not what I want to invest in.

What's prompting punters to buy? Admittedly there's an interesting article in this week's Autocar about Arrival who would appear to have a relatively secure future with UPS's order for 10,000 vans. And they're exactly the type of van UPS would buy and anyone else who wants to maximise efficiency while delivering parcels. Can't see ParcelForce being very far behind in placing an order.

I think you're a bit late if you're thinking of getting into TGA but WTFDIK? AFAIK there is no company with a brighter future than BEN. So why did I sell 15% of my holding earlier this week @ 103.5p? Maybe to bank a 222% profit while I had the chance but BEN remains around 28% of my PF and my largest holding. Excluding binary bets I suggest you research EOG and ORCA.

There's never any need to post proof of your personal pain! Rise above! And stop focusing on ADV! The world is still your oyster so consider other get-rich-quick schemes! I would recommend LOGP and EOG assuming the Irish Government sees sense at last. LOGP's a one trick pony but EOG looks incredibly undervalued unless I'm missing something.

Possibly the most undervalued share but WTFDIK? Fairly confident it will be # 1 Top Riser one day but otherwise it will go bust.

Alternatively, GLEN not putting their interest in the Zanaga Project up for sale might indicate it's a nice little earner! And ZIOC shareholders can wait another 10 years which I very much doubt I'll survive!

You're probably right as GLEN are in complete control - Grrr! But at the same time, generating maximum shareholder value for GLEN investors ought to mean the Zanaga Project being open to offers.
