I think that this judgment is going to force Gspc not to procrastinate further in reaching an amicable agreement with Oilex. With this ruling Gspc needs Government's help to deposit the money and guarantees up to the 15th of November. Since government wants the exploration to go on and also wants to be seen as friendly to foreign investments it will impose a solution that both will have to accept.
On the other side Oilex now know that the 100% option is impossible to obtain without lengthy court proceedings so probably they will be more receptive on what the government will offer as a solution to this impasse as long as the field development program will progress and Gspc pay their prorata share.
I think that the judge feels that an amicable settlement is attainable and he was wise enough to deliver a judgment that will help to bridge the gap.
The fact that no RNS was issued yet, strengthen my belief that an amicable settlement may be reached before resumption of trading next Monday.
