If 'they' think that some people have bought in too high that's not their problem or a signal to start mocking...
I for one was in this over 2½ years ago and through top slicing I have managed to have almost zero risk attached to my holding...and that's why I bought in on the drop again today.
Its a calculated small risk

All this uncertainty over the fact that a calculation determines whether a transaction is a buy or sell based on whether it is above or below the mid point is a deliberate ploy to allow manipulation and promote doubt.... ;-0

A simple extra 8 byte column containing either a 'B' or 'S' would solve all this - but no, that would be too hard :-)

Thanks, makes sense to me to do nothing then. Mine and probably many others pension pots are trashed because of Brexit/Corona so I guess hanging onto 10k shares ain't gonna make much difference :-)

Although the offer of 15.5p will see me break even, feel a bit miffed it's mandatory :-(
