Agree madabout and well said Clio.
I can remember TW getting wind of a placing (inside information) for another company at 8p and totally lambasted the CEO and that company ended up placing at 2p.
Bel, whilst I generally dislike personal attacks aimed at others but asking madabout to apologise is a bit rich? Especially considering his absolutely disgraceful attitude to others including SA. I also believe there is pretty much always a hidden agenda with TW.
Well done Elric 👏 excellent write up.
I hope TW enjoys his humble pie! Now you with confirmation from Manprit have had to spell it out to him, he might consider trying to get all the facts before having rant.
Wouldn’t it have been easy for Mr Angry to have ask the same questions as you did? Guess after accusing SA of lying it will be some time before he is afforded that luxury.
Phat, from what I can remember your post used to be worth reading.
Now you have become so bitter, if it’s not SA then it’s Elric.. can’t you just accept, that for yourself you made the mistake investing in SBTX?
Maybe concentrate on companies you are invested in, I’m sure that would be a much better use of your time?
Oh and good luck with your other investments
Sneaky is bang on Toyin.
I can’t say I’m in total agreement with M&A strategy but I am astonished how Ohara can have a snipe?
He’s criticising SA, who has got SBTX to 36m mk cap (albeit without making any money) which is Ohara’s go to atm.. OPTI has been listed 15years with very little to show for it and pretty sure SA will get nothing like that time.
As well as SA looking over his shoulder, Ohara should be doing the same? As from where I’m sitting his time must be running out.
Oleric,
Maybe consider having a few less pina coladas?
£35 for 8% is not a bad return as sure if you had of listened to interview the weekend, you would have done the same as I did and added more?
That said I did chuckle at the brass neck!
Another reason why the full value won’t be realised, is Ohara will almost certainly have to sell down either PBX or SBTX to keep the lights on at Opti.
Ohara is a shocking CEO and despite making mistakes after countless other mistakes, he continues to do what he thinks is right. Hence the reason we are where we are all these years later.
Elric,
Not hard to guess where PIerce Asia deal fell down? Mine would be Ohara, the control freak that he is, just not getting exactly what he wants and ends up with nothing at all.
Bubs
I get your simple point But Mike has probably got both SBTX and OPTI right? If my memory serves me right he got in very early with both and in each you could have got out making 10ish times your money?
Might add I could have done the same with SBTX but not OPTI, albeit could have doubled my investment.
Hindsight is wonderful and greed doesn’t help either!
I will also add I’m way more confident in SBTX than OPTI but no way will SA be getting the same chances as Ohara has.
Fair play to the savvy investors Toyin, AS, Elric and a few more investors, that know the company they have invested in pretty much inside out.
They picked up on the mistake ( disgrace it happened) instantly. Which begs the question why so many investors/traders just follow the boards and I make investments without and due diligence??
Oleric
It wasn’t actually a snipe and think it’s you that does the majority of sniping.
I also think Elric is right with the ducks lining up and agree the acquisition is nearing completion? Guess only time will tell who’s right?
With all your points considered, you still decided to buy and sell three times. So pretty obvious you can’t make up you mind? Or indeed maybe you just have a hidden agenda??
Belgrano was there really a need for that last sentence in you post? It’s comments like that, that turns forum’s into mud slinging forum’s.
Oleric virtually all your post’s include a snipe at Elric, which is becoming seriously tedious. We all know how you feel but don’t need to be reminded all the time.
Pretty sure most of us know that GB is full of bulls##t?
The annoying thing for me as well as share price, is TW is guilty of the very same thing he spends day and night LAMBASTED others for.
Absolutely no morals! His share picking is woeful, also a failed businessman that I’m sure he will blame others for.
He does pick out a few dogs but most likely comes from inside information.
I for one wouldn’t consider subscribing to his rants and so called tips.
Bang on Belgrano, only wished I had of listened to many like you. Held for many years and a sizeable investment is now worth less than a third. Larus, must say I think SBTX is a much better investment proposition than OPTI. The markets hasn’t attributed any value for SBTX holding to Opti, as they know it will be sold off to keep the lights on. Ohara must be seriously worried as well he should be and if he had anything about him, he would step aside. Thankfully I have a sizeable holding also in SBTX but one things for sure Stuart Ashman will not be getting nothing like the chances I’ve given Ohara.
Who in there right mind would put more money in to this pile of crap, just to service director’s lifestyle’s?Thankfully my own investment was modest and bought Columbus Energy, which obviously became part of BPC. Must admit shortly after I bought TW on ************* tipped CE, in hindsight that should have told me all I needed to know...Feel for those that put serious money in.
Don't respond to the clown, that's what the green bin is for.
Letitrun,
Not sure how long you have been invested? And yes certainly missed timed buying from myself, albeit did have the opportunity to sell at a £1+ (hindsight wonderful).
My issues are the false promises ie-
Hockey stick
Nasdaq
Sweetbiotix
SBTX divi
The list is endless, unfortunately the market takes the same view and needs serious revenues to change that. Here’s hoping that’s not to far away.
