I'm not selling, I was referring to Open Orphan selling information on their Genomic data by subscription to interested parties.

Interesting update yesterday on the shareholder position. CF & other co-founders (20%), Invesco (9.56%), Link Funds (formerly Woodford) (7.3%). He is not expected either of these to sell anytime in the near future. The other two key shareholders Jupiter sold out within a month of the IPO & IP Group finished their final sale 5 weeks ago. He is said no co-incidence that SP has risen since IP Group sold out.

CF also said that when they took over Hvivo for £13m (Hvivo spent over £100m on the Whitechapel facility), they uncovered Imutex (we've already discussed) & Influenza Imune modulator which he is looking to bundle with the Imutex product. Open also has the Genomic Health Data which is leading edge and they are looking to ell the information to interested parties on a subscription type service in the coming months. More revenue opportunity there.

Value in Imutex would be in addition and wouldn't impact OPEN value. In the right shell could easily become a 4/5 times bagger. He is enthusiastic on Imutex as part of a product company.

Sorry, just listened to it again so took a while. CF said that in the next few months he is looking to monetise Imutex by vending it into a listed vehicle on NASDAQ or AIM but preference for NASDAQ and through a dividend species on OPEN providing a 1 for 1 share. For every OPEN share you will get one in this other vehicle. It is not a done deal and not guaranteed but he is hopeful that this plays out.

He stated that Open would not be profitable until HY2. They are stripping out costs first. Venn did £12m revenue last year with 179 staff. They now have lees than 80 staff and will still do £12m revenue this year. In 2 months £2m of cost has come out of Hvivo and another £2m will be out by Xmas. Revenue uplift would not be significant until profitability was achieved. Reading between the lines of what he said and the questions from TW, SP could be between 15p & 20p by Xmas but he wouldn't confirm it. The COVID work (if it happens, as very complex) would be on top of his estimates and given the complexity of the study might not add much value until 2021. He seems very keen to selling Open as it is a service company but very keen on Imutex as a product company and what it could materialise on NASDAQ.

Cathal stated today in his update that he expects to announce more information on Imutex float in the new few months. He did say that he was expecting it to float on NASDAQ. He confirmed exciting months ahead, brokers notes would appear in a matter of weeks rather than months. He also expected Open to be a 3x bagger from the 6p price, suggested not to get carried away and the COVID work is not included in his forecasts so far. I will join the Sharesoc on Monday at 5pm and see whether he repeats any of this again. GLA

Given that Open sponsor his weekly Podcast I would suggest that there is a lot of mutual respect between CF and TW. So I don't think everybody shares your views on him. Personally, I enjoy his continual exposure of many AIM frauds and at £5.99 per month is a cheap way of avoiding them. CF is not on the agenda as a main speaker today but given there are 30 CEO's speaking about their companies then I would suggest he is making an appearance. Sharesoc on Monday, Shares on Thursday so plenty of exposure to keep the SP moving northwards IMO.

Let's hope Simon pulls his finger out and does an update on Monday, long overdue IMO.

Yes, interesting I saw that article as well. The main reason for investing here is not to miss out on any potential takeover, may take a while but worth waiting for IMHO.
