RE: What not to like about the NEW VAL?15 Nov 2020 08:29
Ahhh, the penny has now dropped !
I think Anto sees VAL as a threat to SNG as both are developing a C19 treatments. A bit childish if that is the case! Deramp here and hope people jump ship and buy SNG?
The point with VAL is that its strategy is based on oncoligical and now womans health treatment and not focussed on C19 - this was an opportunist development in a proof of concept stage which just happened to find yet another use of 201 (so versatile) as its base compound, so BC201 is a small part of the companies overall portfolio.
The other point with examination of the share prices is that SNG is heavily dependent on C19 success and Pfizers breakthrough on Monday has hammered this - £2.50 to £1 over 5 months.
In comparison we had a large rise on ramping (St Tropez) etc to 60p, but if you strip out the headline 201 news (always going to spike the price and retrace), the share price has risen gently from 3p in to the 20’s and if you remove the spike, we have maintained this level as VAL is not a one trick pony like SNG, so in light of the AIM bio sell off, VAL have held their head above water incredibly well due to the diversification of the business and the excellent leadership with a handful of hopefully spectacular RNS’s to drop including IP updates, deals and new JV’s, with a strong bank balance to match!
