Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Priceless @tonynorstrom1 ??. Thank you for brightening up an otherwise miserable, cold English day.
On a serious note, this is excellent news. David will significantly strengthen the board. A coup for Pantheon!
Said it before, but worth repeating, if you respond to Louis10 (aka OilManJim, trying to herd punters to his paid for blog?), you’re just giving him another opportunity to come back at you and keep on spreading his bile - and ultimately wrecking this BB. Best put him on filter (as I have) and let him post to himself.
I have encountered this Louis10 character on the PANR board (and filtered and reported him). He is touting OilManJim’s paid subscription blog (and could well be OMJ in disguise, as I hear he is struggling for subscribers to fund his lifestyle). Can I strongly suggest that board members do not engage with him, as you are just giving oxygen to his disinformation and keeping his posting alive. It’s worked well in clipping his wings on the PANR board.
Alternatively, you can respond to his posts, and wreck your bulletin board.
Pantheon Investors. whilst I fully support lively debate on this board, can I respectful I suggest that you stop responding to Louis10 (aka Oil Man Jim?). Every time you go back at him, you give him another opportunity to respond and promote his short position(?) by spreading fear and uncertainty - you gift him a platform to spook nervous holders. I have him on filter - so he can preach to himself. May I recommend you do the same?
Louis10 (now filtered) consistently and repeatedly directed readers to an Oil Man Jim (OMJ) link. The OMJ channel is, ultimately, a subscription based service. I reported my concerns to LSE (twice) but, as yet, have not had any response. Is LSE happy to allow their service to be utilised as a medium to promote subscription services? Anyone have any experience of successfully reporting abuse?
Bearing in mind that replying to Louis10 (or is it really OilManJim, as alleged by Scot?) only continues to give oxygen to the FUD he is committed to posting. Can I suggest genuine shareholders leave him to talk to himself?
Hi Louis10 - Thank you for you re-post of the link to your article
Let’s examine what we have established on this thread so far, shall we?
1. A discredited poster (Scot’s revealing post at 08.45 today, your signposting posting history - oops!).
2. A discredited article (on the face of it, a helpful, and authoritative, general caveat emptor for investors in AIM oil & gas companies - but then, at the foot of the article, the ‘subtle’, or more accurately insidious, links pointing the reader directly to Pantheon - the true agenda behind the article. Pretty unscrupulous!).
3. A discredited author (see #2 above, and less than flattering posts on this thread from those familiar with the author’s track record and his apparent financial motivation).
So, in summary Louis my lad, you’ve been busted, along with your insidious, and IMO, unscrupulous author.
Time to slink off now and engage in your mischief elsewhere.
So all is revealed, Louis10. You were doing OK, opening by seemingly innocently posting a link to an *authoritative* article on the pitfalls of investing in AIM O&G companies - until you clumsily ran your true colours up the mast in your post at 18.41 today. Alfista is bang on the money: you just revealed yourself as a “number 11 batter for the shorters”. And a pretty poor one at that - out for a duck! Nice try.
Hi Scott - thank you for your comment. I have noted that OMJ has been consistently disparaging of Pantheon for as long as I can remember, which is what prompted me to check out if there was a common thread in the links at the end of the article (and, specifically, why they were placed there). Putting all other considerations aside for a moment, to accuse a world renowned, and highly respected, organisation such as Slumberger of being complicit in promoting what amounts to a scam, totally destroys the author’s credibility.
A very interesting and thought provoking piece. I note he particularly references PANR in the links below the article (which I also grabbed my attention), so I thought I’d check out his Pantheon page posts on Twitter - and found I was blocked! I have no recollection of ever engaging with OilmanJim on Twitter, so why would I be blocked?. The only people that have blocked me are Josh Young and Fraser Perring- who are both leading the bear attack on Pantheon. Curious!
