I feel ta is self fulfilling ultimately, I have seen so many projections turn out to be wrong, until after the fact that a new pattern has emerged and "oh yes now I see it is actually this..."
But if enough people believe in a pattern they will trade to it and thus it becomes self fulfilling.

One way of looking at things is that if big holders are now out then when things take a turn the other way there will be less of a drag on the way up. I am still wary of covid pays however but easy to their own.

The issue is the valuation is nuts... no one minds waiting for the growth to land and pay back but as we sit at valuation below static assets something is clearly wrong in how the market sees BMN.
My view is shorting has nailed sentiment, the business has done great things otherwise

Different question answered, you said FM has not delivered, I think he has but it has not been recognised by the market for whatever reason. How has he not delivered?
I am as upset 're the so as anyone but believe it will be reconciled in time but to say they have not delivered just wrong.

Go on the fizzy, what has FM failed on for investors?
The plant has increased capacity, not up to 5k but they saw the Vanchem opportunity and chang3d back to give bigger growth over a slightly longer term. That in itself is huge long term value to inveators.
BE is progressing the the electrolyte plant going ahead, albeit it slower than originally intended.
I think to coincide with Eskom delays and worked out ok with the Vanchem deal taking up probably all of 2019 energy.
I am critical of the communication not the business. I think they have done sterling work but have not communicated it to the market well allowing for fun and games.

Got it... the price was negotiated downwards. Done one could be ensuring the get the reduction back in other ways....

Interesting in that if stock is selling at the higher price why drop the ask just because two big sells arrive? Why not pocket the sells and keep the ask up there after all most people expect a bounce, and make more money. This sort of action is why people feel Mms are complicit

It's a good wheeze, loan a load of cash to a business with big long term (slow) plans that are maybe hard to comprehend fully, get cash back on set date in stock but short the stock in advance to make money, then flip the new shares when you get them to make even more money knowing big news is 12-24 months away. Not unfeasible but probably far fetched imo, but who knows we have seen a real concerted effort for a long time now suggesting a vested interest in keeping BMN down as low as possible, covid markwt crash was the icing on the cake.

Thats is near 10% of the company at current prices.
Don't forget we could sell stakes other companies Atm/Invinity to realise capital to pay back the loans. I hope this is the case rather than dilution!

Its the little things I think Faramog. Someone commented yesterday about tweeting developments like ground clearance or building work starting for BE. We are a business that is transitioning, has a complex story to tell etc, little bits of info keeping the progress in the public eye would do wonders I feel, along with BE pipeline info, after all Infinity can put this in an RNS today so why cant we FFS!!?? The big picture is covered, we know the plan, it sounds great but we need the colour, the subtlety and nuance that bring the story alive and makes it real NOW not just in the future. Does this make sense? I think that would make the story much more alive to the markets and help with the SP situation and manipulation.

I think Mr Mojapelo is pretty fed up with talk about share price, thinking the story will do the trick.
I do think there is news coming but he looks tired and there is not the same spark from 2019 in my opinion.
I wish him well and hope the pressure eases soon (with business transforming news!)
