Whatever you think Alfacomp but no one from back then (who did not sell anyway...) saw this coming, I also think a lot could have been avoided with much better communication and PR.

I have tripled my holding since Dec 18, and my 'obvious agenda' is to remain invested. I have been both complimentary and critical, and will continue to speak my mind if thats ok with you... or do I need to get a permission form filled in?

Again scrabbling around trying to piece it together? Why they can not just be open about what they have been telegraphing for literally years eludes me... everyone bidding will know who they are up against anyway.

Two likely outcomes...open to more ideas:
One: the consortium is Uber, involving several big vrfb suppliers outside of the BMN stable....with BE as the developer guaranteeing the V supply and price, targeting the majority of the Eskom tender. However I just cannot see how we can supply much electrolyte in time and don't seem to be stockpiling much ( few hundred kgs maybe in the last RNS) so probably not, unless we withdraw from the steel market in 2021?. Nice idea though.
Two: the consortium is not very big at all and we are only going for peanuts to start so expectation is not be ramped up...
I cannot immediately recall the go live date for each tender so will have to look, what was it 4.5t v per mwh?

Whilst you are here do you have anybinsight in how long it would take to build and commission the electrolyte plant, and subsequent timeframe to convert V to electrolyte in bulk. I have been puzzled as to why the plant was delayed and there seems to have been little rush to complete it, bearing in mind the Eskom tender was due originally last year.
Thanks if you are able to shed any light.

I would welcome the debate a £500m bid would initiate to be frank. Would probably be (mildly) tempted as well... just because I am so sick of the price and lack of clarity. Have we officially said we are tendering for Eskom? Some posters have mailed responses from Chika I believe suggesting this as part of a consortium but I don't think I have seem anything official?

Interesting we are seeing smaller moves at the bottom of the cycle but when falling from the higher levels we see quarter point drops only?

That RNS shows how complicated things have become, we own a bit if this, that, the other, a jv with them over their, some over investments up there and a stake in the other fellas.
It is a lit to take in fir anyone new without a clear revenue stream as of yet. I get lost with what percentages we own of who and there are some which are still rather unclear. The structure needs to be clearer and I hope this is resolved when we get to launch for VRFB
