So Vanadium will need to be priced at market rate if the mining side of the business is to get maximum value at any one time, as ownership passes to the lease company, thus BMNs interest in said Vanadium ends at that point? The query comes from BMN owning up to 70% of VERL so effectively selling to ourselves and IES??

As said before I firmly believe this is why BE is not recognised by the market, so many questions yet to be answered to show HOW it will bring value.
I am in for the long haul so does not matter for me how battery side develops and the steel market should be good enough for the present looking statement trends.

If V price rockets, do BE charge the leasing entity market rate, assuming BE are not going to lease the material directly? Anyone got any ideas of realistic return over say 10- 15 years as I assume we can charge a lower price to effectively subsidize VRFB uptake but ensure we get market rate (plus hopefully a lot more) over time otherwise it would be best to just sell for steel if prices are high.
Anyone here actually deal with leasing and the possibe process as I am trying to understand the implications with a volatile commodity.

I think it would help with understanding of BE made some clear statement to the markets about how they intend to be part of these tender processes. To he honest 12 months ago I though BE would be bidding themselves or as part of the tie ups with Invinity/Enerox, not now however...
Again how will the market value the business if we are not told WHAT BE is actually involved with, not the actual bid detail per se but what parts theoretically they would be involved in and how they see money being made. Until we see something on this grandstanded to the markets, or some numbers in an end of year I feel BE will not get recognition, mind you as far as we know BE has not done anything anyway, other than a line in an interview about Eskom with no detail. There must be non disclosures...

These 2% ers are very reminiscent of a previous time.
However we don't want a surge like 2018 to snuff out VRFB just as the markets are starting to take them seriously (due to price). However we are hedged both ways as if V goes bananas I guess we make more profit selling to steel at $130 than converting to electrolyte at $30 for V plus whatever conversion for this added, some have quoted around $20?

Wonder if we will see some volume this week due to the possibility of some significant news? Although personally I don't think we will hear anything this week, don't know why just a gut feel.

They have been scrooges all year, have allowed us a goodies toenail this week admittedly but I am waiting forthe reat of the goose hopefully next month.

Short story being they see V prices at their low presently and expect growth next year.

Nothing is priced in for Eskom.. at all, plus we don't even know how we have tendered, to what level, for what value of business, for what constituent parts etc so cannot attribute anything value wise to either winning or failing to secure any tender business.
This rise is purely Vanadium price and long overdue recovery in my opinion anyway.

Have had nt for sell on and off both yesterday and particularly early this am, just part of the game or simply capacity to process orders ? Volume has picked up somewhat hasn't it.
Has not stopped the rise mind...
