Hi Mittenator. Thanks for the reply. My perception of fair value will most likely change as the good news continues to flow through. A fair price today is likely to be a dire one in 6 months time!! I am just focussing on facts. How many disappointing / bad news RNS's has ARB issued? Zero!!! Mining figures have been exceptional. Deals with suppliers are sound and will put us in an even stronger position. Everything seems to have gone according to plan so far. Everything company decision has made sense. The fundraisings, green BTC, Pluto, Texas, NASDAQ (sorry for mentioning it), EVEN directors selling share during their 'window of opportunity'. I would have done the same!! In fact, I did with my own business many years ago!!
And so the fall in the SP has absolutely nothing to do with how this company is run. In fact, I am more bullish than ever! I intend sitting on my hands and I will not be sucked in to selling just because people are shorting the stock.
Thumbs up to Blubay. :-) I have added another 10k over the last two days, averaging down again. Ended up reducing one of my other ISA share holdings to release the funds for ARB. I thought the upside is better with here than with my other holding!! Especially now!! I think I'm supposed to finish off with IMO!!!

Totally agree. The SP does not reflect the facts. It's ridiculous. These are stone wall facts!!!! ARB are mining 175 to 200 BTC per month at $56k on a GP of c. 84%. So roughly c. $10m per month net profit, with more miners lined up. The current market cap does not reflect this level of profitability. Not even close!!! Nor does it reflect any of the other initiatives which have been well documented. I have not sold a single share and have no intention of doing so until I think it reaches fair value. A figure I am not going to quote for fear of being called a ramper!!

SABY16. My situation virtually matches yours. Average price paid, 'Loss' size. The only difference is that I haven't told my Mrs! You clearly have more bottle than me!!
Matt007. I really feel for you. I have no intention in crystallising my loss either. ARB has ALWAYS bounced back to reach new highs after a substantial dip. With all of the good news coming I remain confident ARB will retest the highs in the coming months.

Hi Misterbeck. I've read the LTH's posts (I've only been invested since February). These big drops are not unusual for ARB and other miners. It's the volatility of the sector. We all knew what we were getting into. The point is that although miners take an absolute caning but the bounce back has always exceeded the previous highs. The real danger is crystalising the loss or missing the bounce.
Which brings me on to being in total agreement with TheProfit. Nothing has changed. Just sentiment, profit taking, and shorting. The business is still as sound today as it was when the shares peaked at over £3.00. My only frustration is that had I timed this better I'd have been holding over 100k shares now for the same size investment that it took to buy 60k shares.

And yes, people's posts can be pretty heartless sometimes, but most of the time they mean no harm. They are fortunately in a position to top up at a bargain price and are just being bullish. Good luck to them. :)

Wow. This was not a pleasant week!
I feel like many of you rather shell shocked. Having promised myself that I wouldn't check my 'paper' loss, my curiosity got the better of me!! So if it helps anyone here feel a bit better, I am down £35k on a 60k shareholding and am no longer in a position to average down. I'm all in!!
Each time I've been tempted to sell and take the hit, I have stopped myself knowing that at some point the share price will be higher than it closed today. It could be days, weeks, months but it WILL happen. Let's face it, selling at a loss now, and then watching it recover would be absolutely horrendous.

Likewise Pepsicle. :-) As others have said, it's much less stressful seeing a reduced profit than it is an outright 'loss', although it's not one I'm going to crystallise!!
As mickymix said, we just have to wait for the bounce back, which will happen. It's just not pleasant knowing we could have picked the shares up so much lower, hence the amazing opportunity for new shareholders!!

Argobull. Totally with you on this. I'm annoyed at myself averaging down too heavily at £2.15. Never thought it would drop below the placing price and consequently went all in. It's slightly frustrating that with so many like me, it will be the new shareholders who really benefit from the share price recovery and not the existing ones who are in the red!!
For all new potential Argonauts. You are in a fantastic position to benefit from the bounce. You'll be in profit faster than those many on here. IMO you should be taking advantage of it and fill your boots!!! GLA.

Hi Cekim. Being 62% down means you need ORM to rise by 263% to break even. I can't see that happening for a very long time given ORM's track record, disconnect within the company, and zero glimmer of hope within the RNS.
So I share PhatStyle4321's view. There are so many better run companies, with far more potential than ORM.
The hardest thing to do is crystallise a loss - as you have no doubt seen from many diehard ORM fans on this BB. Never fall in love with a share!! I've been there myself. As you are not a day trader you have to take a longer term view. I am not a financial adviser but obvious choices are putting your remaining funds into a recovery stock most likely to benefit from the easing of lockdown. Once things open up I'm pretty certain there will be companies that will thrive due to the euphoria of getting our lives back - although it may take some time. The less risky sectors are Hotels, Airlines, Restaurants, possibly House Builders. The more risky sectors (non lockdown related) would be anything Crypto / Mining / Blockchain related where you are likely to see a lot more volatility but 'potentially' greater upside. Obviously all IMHO and definitely DYOR.

Hi Cekim. In truth no one can predict a future SP. However, based on historical data it looks like it could fall to 0.7p with no news, but this is only a guess on my part. The RNS was extremely downbeat. It told me everything I needed to know but had long expected. Had there been any glimmers of hope they would have been mentioned.

Hi GP. Yes. We both called it right unfortunately. I sold my final 100k first thing this morning. Switched opinion from Strong Sell to Sell. After 7 months of negotiation it was more likely the deal would fall through. Probably helps running our own businesses. You develop a gut feeling then things are about to go wrong!! I called the further SP drop last night which materialised not long after your post this morning. The SP is now more reflective of the eroding cash position. I'm still not a buyer at this level. Difficult to see where good news is coming from when there is clearly a disconnect between the BOD and TA. It is alluded to in the RNS. They are going to struggle to get any new deals over the line until either TA sells or members of the BOD leave. Good luck to all who have decided hang on. Hopefully ORM will repay your loyalty in some way but I fear it's going to be a long wait.

Only one MM offering 1.1p. The rest are 0.9 and 1.0. If no other MM raises their bid then the next SP movement will be down.
I wouldn't average down until the spread is reduced. 18% is a lot to make up before breaking even on any top up purchases.

Hi PAD. With everything that has gone on, you must be the most optimistic, trusting, laid back person I have ever engaged with. A true gentleman! You deserve more than ORM has served up for you. I can't believe you are still using words like intrigued.
Hi Flundra. One can only imagine the hostility between the BOD and TA now that the deal has fallen through. The relationship must surely be beyond repair which will make any 'alternative initiatives' even more of a challenge. Plus any leverage the company had offering shares instead of cash is considerably weaker now. Prospective sellers / Licence Holders will be fully aware of ORM's weak and eroding cash position.

PAD004. I honestly feel sick to the stomach for you. You were the first person I thought of when I saw the drop. I didn't even need to read the RNS as it was obvious what had happened. Why are you still buying more?! There is no upside here. It is going to take months to find another opportunity and with every month that passes the cash position depletes. Even if ORM secures a licence they will most likely need to fund raise to see the project through to fruition.
