Australia’s next rare earths producer, Hastings Technology Metals Limited (ASX:HAS) (Hastings or the Company) is pleased to announce that it has received firm commitments for a share placement to institutional, sophisticated and professional investors (Placement) and provide details about a Share Purchase Plan (SPP) and Conditional Placement (together, the Capital Raise).
Placement
The Placement will raise approximately $14.6 million (before costs) from the issue of approximately 117 million new fully paid ordinary shares in the Company to institutional, sophisticated and professional investors (New Shares).
The offer price of A$0.125 per New Share represents a 21.9% discount to the last traded price of A$0.16 (on 21 August 2020) and a 9.8% discount to the Company’s 10 day VWAP of $0.139.
New Shares are expected to be issued on or around Tuesday, 1 September 2020 and will be issued without shareholder approval under the Company’s remaining placement capacity under LR7.1 and LR7.1A (21,900,000 shares under LR7.1 and 95,290,000 shares under 7.1A). For the purposes of LR7.1A the 15-day VWAP is $0.138.

Actually Cause, one way to get a feel for the type of posters on this board is to turn up at the AGMs and suss them out in person. Do the same with the board as well. But..... there are plenty of posters who post virtually everyday who have never attended our AGMs .... some have valid reasons why they choose not to attend , others well.... ? Generally the longer you are reading this board the more you recognise the genuine posters and the ones who have a certain style of posting that turn up with a different hat on ;)

Clarification – Announcement dated 21 August 2020 titled: ‘Macarthur’s Joint Venture Partner Fe Limited Acquires Advanced Iron Ore Project’
Macarthur Minerals Limited (ASX: MIO) (TSX-V: MMS) (the “Company” or “Macarthur”) refers to its ASX announcement dated 21 August 2020 titled: ‘Macarthur’s Joint Venture Partner Fe Limited Acquires Advanced Iron Ore Project’ (“Announcement”).
The Company seeks to clarify the contents of the Announcement as follows:
1. Macarthur does not have a direct interest in the Yarram Iron Ore Project (“Yarram Project”) which has been joint ventured by FE Limited (ASX: FEL) (“FEL”), but Macarthur currently holds 26,666,667 ordinary shares in FEL and pursuant to the Company’s Joint Venture Agreement with Macarthur can receive ordinary shares in FEL worth up to a further AUD 1,250,000;
2. Macarthur’s Announcement contains selected drilling results that were reported in FEL’s separate ASX announcement concerning FEL’s acquisition of its interest in the Yarram Project. Macarthur retracts the references to those selected exploration drilling results on the basis that:
a) The exploration drilling results were first reported by FEL and not Macarthur; and
b) The exploration drilling results were not reported by Macarthur in its Announcement according to the requirements of the ASX Listing Rules
3. The Company advises that Investors should not rely on the retracted information as a basis for any investment decision concerning the Company.
