*net debt
Not sure how the market will take this. Main points for me that they have reduced bet debt and increased free cash flow, however they won't see sustainable cash flow2 for 1-2 years.
Key word is sustainable. I think the ESS sale is now even more important.
The rest of the RNS is pretty much expected.
Mixed bag RNS imo.
Feel the pain guys.
This is my worst performing share in my portfolio by a long stretch. It's become a double-edged sword....as it rises a bit when you don't expect it to, and also falls when you expect it to rise.
Buying pressure seems to make no difference here as often the buys outweigh the sells. Algos are in full control.
I'm not expecting much tomorrow, especially as there is normally a bit of life in the SP on expectation of decent news.
Not being negative, just being realistic based on the run of form we locked into. SP expectations are low for tomorrow, this way any spike will be a nice surprise.
Best of luck all.
....this is going :D
Great update. If only Sunset could see this now, lol.
GL all....we deserve it!
I wouldn't bank on it. This share never does what it's supposed to do, and is flaky at best atm.
I'm in heavy here with a higher avg than the current SP reflects, so would be over the moon if you're right. Keeping grounded avoids any disappointment.
GL all the same.
Lol, same here. The astronaut gear I bought in preparation was a complete waste of money.
Hoping this can break 40 and stay well above it soon, too. Unfortunately this share has become all too predictable for all the wrong reasons.
Anyone heard anything from Clangers? ;)
That's the 50p+ btw.... ;)
If you're right I'll buy you a virtual pint.
Agree re: stop loss. Totally useless in any share on bad news. You will get the lowest market value price of the spike down. It's happened to me on one occasion, and lesson learnt.
Agree. So obvious when people have sold out. Just don't see why people can't say they've sold, and wish people all the best. Rather than sell and be all doom and gloom.
Deary me.....if only there was an eye roll emoji on here.
They are probably not all sells that's why.
The reality is we've gained 7-8p in less than a month. We are setting higher lows along with it. Overall trend is up.
I'm certainly not complaining. Pull backs are part of the process, sellers sell and new buyers come in. It's what makes a market.
Anyone expecting to be an overnight millionaire here should look elsewhere.
We are ticking along just fine folks.
We are more or less at the original mooted offer price of 40p (almost hit earlier in fact) right now. I think it's fairly safe to assume that anything sub 50p may not even be brought to the table by any of the bidders, especially if we continue this trajectory the rest of the week. With this in mind they will probably have to open the bid(s) upwards of 50p imo to even get negotiations started. Just my take on the situation in conjunction with the current SP level.
Shorts are also reducing, so them buying back will be adding to the squeeze. I think this is just the start of where we may end up by Friday close.
Best of luck all.
Ammu, my friend, don't rise to the noise. Some are throwing out random numbers without any basis to them, and others are just here to spook nervous hands.
The majority who properly hold here know this share is extremely undervalued at current levels, even taking into account the debt. Offers of 56p will just be the start imo.
GL.
Nice analogy Shezer. You just reminded me of the below:
A ship engine failed and no-one could fix it, so they brought in a chap with 40 years experience.
He inspected the engine carefully, top to bottom.
After looking things over, the guy reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer.
He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine burst back into life.
The engine was fixed!
7 days later the owners got his bill for £10,000.
"What?!" the owners said. "You hardly did anything. Send us an itemised bill".
The reply simply said:
Tapping with hammer: £2
Knowing where to tap: £9,998
Don't ever underestimate experience.
Glen and co will turn this ship around and patience will pay off.
GL all.
I'm glad others think this about Swazers' comment. Total nonsense to say his chart analysis predicted this. If charts could predict takeover offers on companies we'd all likely be extremely rich.
I'm a fan of T.A. and charting, but claiming his chart predicted this is ludicrous. I'm not attacking you Swazers btw, I just totally disagree with your view.
....as I was moaning the other week that I couldn't make out why we were tracking sideways. Been great to see this gain traction this past few trading sessions, and thankful I stuck with it.
GL all :D
MM games at play already. Many buys being reported as sells.
