Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
When Chariot moves, she moves fast. You can be thinking 20p by Christmas and before you know it it’s already made it by the end of the week. I remember in 2010 we would get days on end of rises between 10 and 20%.
Particularly like this bit. The modelling must look pretty good
for the provision of development debt finance for the Anchois Gas Discovery, located within the Lixus Offshore Licence, Morocco ("Lixus"), AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE DISCOVERIES FROM THE WIDER PROSPECT PORTFOLIO of the Licence.
Not that parabolic unfortunately. 32% more sells than buys and large volume (quite a lot of big sells too). Not quite sure what to make of that. Any ideas other than the usual ‘nothing goes up in a straight line’ , consolidation etc.
Quite big sells going through. Someone is offloading during this rising SP without actual news, or someone is being shoehorned in... Not so sure about the intentions of our new ramper....seen that too often before! I got in way back in 2010 and haven't sold a share, so obviously keen to see any rise. Would like to see some news soon though!
That is not entirely true Pro. When CHAR had a good story pre Namibia spuds, we had major IIs on board including CS and GS amongst others. The upside was massive and the sales boys and girls had something juicy to sell to their massive client bases. That is primary what drove the price from 20p up to 320p+, as well as major validation from BP and Shell farmouts. Since then, the landscape has changed considerably as IIs realised that investing in oil minnows was too risky, despite the potential returns. Char has a good story to tell again, although on a smaller scale. I expect IIs will want to see greater market confidence this time before they join any party.
I agree SHC. I also don’t think someone with a strong cv and background would join a company in the full knowledge that it’s going nowhere. I thought I was a very interesting move by Char and certainly corroborates their stated confidence in Lixus. As you say, a corner piece in what is becoming a large puzzle.
Just PI's fiddling about. No really big buys or sells for ages. We need a couple of IIs to create sustained buying pressure. We're just seeing pin money floating about, a few hundred quid here, a thousand there...nothing of interest. We need £10k chunks every 10 minutes to float this boat!
It was sort of hinted at that there wouldn't be any immanent announcement in the AP interview, although the FD in the Malcy interview seemed to suggest new news was pretty close, on the basis of getting appropriate value. Reading between the lines, close but no cigar yet, hence the stall in SP perhaps. I get the sense that something will move mid Q4- Xmas, but not necessarily during October, too many i's to be dotted and t's to be crossed yet. Looking good though and getting better.
Whilst the recent news so far has been excellent, without a proper institutional investor or two, the buying will always fall off after a few days. I think what we have seen is a few private investors getting in after seeing the upgrade and the excellent new vision for the business, as expressed by AP. Those that have wanted to get in, have and now the buying is reducing. Personally I'm optimistic about Chariot and its forward momentum. It would be good to see some of the big boys getting on board and selling this compelling story to their large client bases. What we really want of course is a major to endorse our prospects with a respectful farm out agreement. I'm sure the recent resource upgrade will have brought that significantly closer. Good weekend all.
