Gary has lived in Bangladesh for well over 15 years trying to get phulbari over the line. I think I’m right in saying he was instrumental in getting approval last time before the riots which effectively stopped it in its tracks. He doesn’t work remotely and I would imagine knows all the big players well, the fact that he’s still there and not run for the hills says a lot for his determination to get this done , hopefully he knows someone who is in with the person who is likely to get in next , I’m sure someone has already been lined up and the people on the ground will already have a fair idea who that is , with a bit of luck he’s already whispering in the right people’s ears .

Load shedding due to no fuel and factories not able to produce due to electricity, I would argue finding a reliable fuel source saving the country billions each year and reliable electricity might actually be the first thing they look out , the fact is we are all guessing

Like all shareholders I would like some news to give the share price a boost , but for me personally if it is going to be three months then I’m happy for it to go down to a penny so I can load up more , I believe it has more chance of success now than any time while she was in charge , my own thoughts do your own research I honestly don’t care one way or the other who buys or sells , it’s your money your choice

There lyes the problem, it would only be a 100 billion boost to the economy if they owned the licence, as it stands they still have to buy the coal from GCM , I’m sure it would be at a discounted rate or have a high tax attached to it but think buying there own coal back from a western country is the main stumbling block .

Thanks for that redeyemines , if we’re still waiting for the green light in 2026 we will have bigger issues than the polo loan , hopefully by then 5 million will be pocket change , like you redeye my only worry is us getting taken out by a hostile low offer , I’m more than a little worried with the huge accumulation and obvious price manipulation over the last few months , I still think the only person who could pull this of is tang , it he does in fact control diani, D&G infratech and polo share , just don’t think there is anyone els whe could gain a controlling amount of shares with the free float , be interested to hear your thoughts on this

I’ve always thought the biggest obstacle with getting approval is GCM being seen as westerners running off with Bangladesh’s Crown Jewels and selling it back to them , it has occurred to me it would be ideal to announce phulbari in the middle of a whole host of other projects with there great partners , China. It would soften the blow and make it more palatable to the people of Bangladesh,

Also the last time they was going to give approval and it was all out in the open it gave the opposition time to mobilise and organise the riots that followed, maybe the have just decided to announce it out the blue , a done deal too late to go back , there has been plenty of time for those in the no to get there positions, fact is gcm run a tight ship and none of us no what’s coming so we will just have to wait and see but I honestly think it will all become clear fairly soon ,

This is what worries me about the AIM markets , It seems they don’t have to adhere to any rules they can just keep the price were ever they want it , also not happy with of book buying, it absolutely reeks of corruption and price manipulation, surely they have to answer to someone, from experience the FCA are not interested
