You haven’t ruined any one’s weekend daisy if the proposal is in to the government as we suspect the share raise will be formally at a much higher price with minimal dilution, Kieth said at the AGM there was people asking to invest. your statement is ridiculous
It begs the question, what are we waiting for , come on GCM strike while the iron is hot and make a massive spectacle of putting in the proposal shouting from the rooftops about all the benefits to the long suffering Bangladesh people . There has never been a better time than now
Yes GCM only have a license and that’s it …….a licence to mine 100 BILLION pounds worth of coal ,coal the Bangladesh government so desperately need a licence which went through rigorous examination and was found to be completely legally binding and enforceable in international law.
Another confirmation that everything is fine behind the scene at GCM . If all the people in the no are happy to be paid in shares and never sell any , would of preferred the NED’s confirmation but I’m sure it will follow these things take time
Many thanks to Searcher , redeyemines and all others for there excellent reporting of the AGM and also their continuing contribution to the board .
In all my years in GCM I honestly have never felt more confident of the green light , I think the reason the proposal hasn’t been put in till now is Gary and co believed the answer would be a NO. The landscape has changed in Bangladesh and they simply have no other option but to use their own coal . Congratulations to the board it looks like you’ve played a blinder I’m looking forward to watching the confidence returning and the share price re rating over next few weeks . Congratulations to all LTH looks like there is life in the old dog yet
After being in and out of gcm for the last 7 years I can’t remember a time where everything was falling in place as much as now. Bangladesh simply have No Other option but to use own coal , GCM have finally made the decision to invite the GOB to be partners, something I and others have been saying is the only way this can be approved for some time now. My main concern has been the integrity of M Tang and wether he would try take licence for himself and that seems to be passed now so congratulations to all long time holders once we get rid of the day traders and it settles down we should be in in for an amazing 2024 .
I agree I think we can safely say the threat of suspension has passed but will still be nice to have it confirmed, can anyone who went the AGM also confirm the proposal is still being presented 1st quarter , meaning the next 30days please , thanks
The nomads will be involved with the process of recruiting new Ned’s which is not a 2 minute process, if they are completing there due diligence and are happy there will be a imminent resolution they might decide not to resign pending the completion of the process, also let’s make it clear a suspension, which we had last month is not a delisting, according to the gcm website last time I looked Kieth fuller had 1.8 million shares so you can be sure he’s doing everything in his power not to delist , I expect the nomad situation to be resolved even if it’s after the AGM ,
Just to remind everyone how important it is to vote for Gary lyes reelection, if he was to not get reelected it would put us back to not having enough directors even if we get the new NED’s before the AGM, I no it’s pretty obvious but it can’t do any harm to remind people how imperative it is ,
