Perfect timing with the consultation ending tomorrow
Wow, great find Loosegoose!
I have to politely disagree Dawski. I’m with the TR1 PI. Q1 2021 will be strong.
We will know tomorrow if it’s all bluster. The post on the 18th suggests there will be no RNS. Bring on 7.00 am.
Another RNS call?
Interesting post Loosegoose. I’m assuming you’ve already connected and have been reassured they are a serious outfit unlike what some originally suggested? The contract with Brodosplit really made me believe this is on its way.
I hope you continue the streak, Tango
With Christmas, the 13th Jan will come around quickly. If there is no NEW scientific evidence to challenge, then I think it will be relatively quick and straight forward from there. Don’t listen to protestors views on the planning permission. We’ve already enacted the planning as we’ve built the well site.
My view is that this is a positive for the reasons outlined below:
- DAERA has reengaged with the process - I was worried their silence would have prolonged further
- I am sure the wording in the RNS will have been authorised by DAERA, so we are working on a 12-14 week window to focus minds
- If there were any issues with the ML, this would not be needed and the application would be rejected
- Only NEW scientific research that disputes the scientific research will alter the decision
- All parties have agreed to follow additional steps above and beyond the required process to void a Judicial Review
- We've also got to remember the IM is no longer priced in and is seen a bonus by the iis such as Gresham House
Hopefully DAERA will follow the science :)
RNS tomorrow, Tango?

Gray Johnstone is the CEO (https://hr.linkedin.com/in/gray-johnstone-a96a06162) and is referred to in a post on LinkedIn by JW this morning (https://www.linkedin.com/posts/activity-6742741819882274817-9oTL)
The company headquarters is in Split and they've just contracted with Brodosplit to build a field development vessel. The original LoI was June 2020 and the contract signed this week. Hopefully we will get the same results June 2021 (or before!). Brodosplit look like a serious player https://www.brodosplit.hr/
Worth a listen from 26 mins

I’m sure it’s in the right hands and we will hear the key parts next week.
I’m sure they will. Still a week to go.
Infa has confirmed there will be a mechanism for asking questions in advance of the evening or on the night.
Boris Johnson, speaking during a visit to Appledore, said the shipyard had “massive history but it’s also got a great future”.
“What we want to do is to ensure that there’s a good enough stream of contracts coming through to drive jobs and growth here in Devon,” the Prime Minister said.
Marine82, it is in the financials section of the Cenkos research note (link on a different feed). Given we’ve just seen a new contract won at £2.5m along with the activity earlier this year projected at £2m (based on the number of vessels announced at £2.5m), then add in the obscene numbers when you move from Ferries to Cruise ships, I’m very confident we will hit breakeven.
There is no issue with the gates. H&W are doing the 10 year survey. This was always planned after they recommissioned the main dock.

Please can we all calm down....
