Was in my local JDW in north Leeds on Wed between 5.00 and 7.00 and it was rammed. Lots of families all eating. We ordered 2 meals with 2 large wines and it cost less than £20! (and served in less than 10 mins)
JDW could slap 20% on all costs and still not loss footfall.

each book has 84 vouchers. The small print say "participating Wetherspoons and Lloyd's no1 bars". It cover about all of the beer and larger's. The locals were swapping bitter tokens with people that drank larger which they didnt need to as you just ask the staff for another book! food covered is mainly breakfast, burgers and pizza. ends 31st October.
went to the local spoons last night to find they are giving out voucher books for discount on food and drink! how the hell are we going to make a profit? Breakfast muffin and a never ending tea/coffee is £1.99. even greggs can beat that
