Also my post was in response to wolves2211 at 08:28 who was having a go at novice posts I wasnt having a go at novices in general! So please read previous posts on the original thread before pointing fingers

There's loads of novices on LSE! We all started somewhere but the questions asked sometimes is embarrasing its no different to a punter in the bookies looking to find a tip for the next race! Theres a lot of people on LSE who expect to have their hand held from the start line to the finish line and have no idea what they invested, why they invested and then when all goes wrong slate everyone else but themselves!

I know there are some that are annoyed at what's happening today but I'm looking at this now from another angle. The company obviously see there is a lot of demand for this share and people want in. They are making it viable for people to have a piece of the pie. To me this could be a good move. Think outside the box. I'm not so annoyed anymore. Just another chance to make more money on the way up again. I shall be keeping my eyes on this share like a hawk. Good luck all

Seen this and it's a great video and you will learn a lot from watching it in whole I have watched it a few times as a reference for myself. I really like him he does very interesting and to the point seminars.
People really need to understand the industry before they start with the financial markets and this will help.

Exactly what I thought. I think they know they have possibly missed the boat on COVID19 play so are sorting themselves out for the cancer play. Disappointed with how things have played out as this genuinely did look like a decent well run company who had their retail investors interest in order. Oh well it's done now. This is purely a punt now. I've taken a lot of my profit now at 170p and managed to come in with smaller amount for my spread. If it doesn't go as I think it should I will get out and leave it. Such a shame.

Well this week now is clearer and why such a large drop from 210p! All I can say is we have been lead down the garden path and been cheated really. Very clever wording on all the previous RNS to me to suck investors in. They knew they were gonna do a placing even though they said they were fully funded til 2021, also the RNS stating a few weeks back last month for results for the tests sent off. Not sure I can trust this lot now.

Just involved with the pharmas recently and taken my profit and time to look elsewhere. This has caught my eye today so I will be doing my research but from what I have seen today could be a fair bit of upside as a spreadbet with very minimal risk.

Never once said it was a pump and dump. But this is arson this week.
Remember this is still a gamble til the product works. This is AIM and I have learned to take profit when I can rather than wait til Xmas not coming

Well. What a drop this has turned out to be. I'm still sat on the bench waiting for my 80th minute call up as there's still time yet to get on the pitch. Something ain't right people. I am gutted this is happening in all honesty.
I'm just glad my instinct was right to jump out for the moment as the drop just weren't what people thought it was.

I'm happy with how things have worked out here and with my other spreadbets since February. I'm only a small investor and happy with my profits recently. I took profit on the way up here and in GDR and ODX. I'm not prepared to get caught out like I have in the past holding on too long waiting for news for it to either not come or not be as what we were wishing for and see my profit down the drain.
I see myself as derisked now profit taken. If the news comes and it's good I will jump in as it's derisked even more. Too many people would have jumped in this past week and be at a loss cos they jumped on the bandwagon. Everyone is within their right to take their profit as that's what we do it for at the end of the day. I have to say I find this current drop very strange and a bit worrying really. The reason for this is we have risen very nicely along the way up to 200p+ with some great news every step of the way and people buying in making the share price stronger and we'll bought. Now we are at the most important point where the next news is make it break. Surely this should be holding stronger than its current price in anticipation of what's to come?
This just doesn't sit right to me and my instinct is saying something isn't quite right.
If we don't get anything with regards to the tests this could easily dump as before the testing kits this share was below 30p.

I think this current state of affairs will be the norm now until our next bit of news, which is hopefully what we are expecting and good to get this moving on again. Gone a bit boring now. Show me the money

Well, today has been a write off and I'm gonna struggle on shift tonight. Got hardly any sleep cos of this heat and I had a feeling we drop slightly today so I bought at the dip again. Seems to held well today considering the negative vibe with waiting for news. People are in their rights to take profit so good luck to them. If we end well it will boost my confidence that we will have something soon maybe this week. This could have easily dropped to 150p with the selling but it's holding well above 170p so for me that's a very good sign.

You too mate someone has to do it but I actually prefer it due to the days off I get. I'm the same finish at 7 every shift so am always ready for the days news and posts and watch the goings on til around 9:30 to 10am til I'm tired sometimes hard to wind down especially when AVACTA is having a blinder lol

I thought I would be the only one up at this hour scrolling through the weekends chat., but it seems I'm not alone. Got 3 hours left of my night shift. I have been anticipating the week starting to see where we go this week. I'm hoping we get what we are waiting for. Its squeaky bum time at the moment waiting for the news and I cant really call where the share price will be waiting for news, at the same time though you just don't want to be on the sidelines now cos when we get the big news we are hoping for which looks set to be coming people will miss out if they aren't in. Fingers crossed we get the cake and eat it this week.

They upto their usual games to end the week? Get rid of the chancers and weak traders and investors ready to get low entry mates rates lol ready for the news to come when that is who knows but we have had a great few weeks, just a shame I couldnt get out to get back in lower. Cant get it right everytime. Still holding strong ready for the next important step in Avactas operations.

One thing I have learnt over this past 2 weeks is the chancers that are actually around on LSE who throw their teddies out of their pram when a share doesnt go up in a straight line and dont have the patience to wait for something to happen. The share price this past few days is an example of this. People continuously talking about an RNS saying it nailed on this week etc and when it doesnt come scares the weak investors off as soon as a drop starts. Nothing goes up in a straight line but I honestly believe we should not be dropping like this, but I suppose it helps others get in lower so well done to them and we have also got rid of the rainbow chasers and chancers.
We shall see what happens next week but we all know what will come.

I love how some people are losing patience or their nerve because AVCT hasn't got their product ready yet or announced its ready. Just cos the other companies are ahead slightly like GDR and ODX.
This is something that can't be rushed just to be first in the market. I would rather be right not rushed and inconsistent with results. AVCT will have a product that will be used for years to come in numerous industries so the earnings potential here is going to be huge. I just don't get how people can't see that. Also there's the cancer side of things. From what I have read recently here there are people who just don't want to miss the boat on the other shares like odx and GDR so jump ship which is fine if u think u can make money there crack on I already have myself but this company is the longer term more solid play.
Too many people are chancers just jumping on the band wagon and then are noisy when it does not go their way.
Good luck with your investment whatever you do but I believe to knock this share is idiotic.
