That is some pretty serious money. Wonder what is going on.

PS I think Angela actually meant to refer to the 'FDA regulatory process' because the EU regulatory process does not require a study (at the moment).

They have to wait until after the 3rd FDA meeting (due before end of October 20) before they can make a decision on funding requirements. So we should get news on funding in November this year (probably).

"Futura is working proactively with the FDA to confirm design of the new clinical trial to provide the necessary reassurance of MED3000's efficacy for up to six months and progress the OTC label and leaflet development.... Final clearance from the FDA on the scope and design of the additional study will allow Futura to determine the expected cost. Futura expects to give a progress update following the third pre-submission meeting with the FDA rescheduled before the end of October and ahead of the commencement of any additional study which start will be dependent upon such FDA clearance."

Not sure exactly when the next 'update' is due but interim results circa late September possibly. So an 'update' prior to the interims could be any time now, if they have one.

I'm not sure how it was picked up that Amanda was invested in FUM (many years ago it would seem)., but it does seem to be true. Not sure if she was a 'director' of the company as claimed previously. Not sure of the relevance....apart from our very own Amanda obviously!!!

Tricky, I expect it is a bit of an over-statement to classify an entire nation in one sentence. I have found some Americans to be quiet & thoughtful people, with a gentle wit. Likewise I know some British people who are loud, brash & full of hot air.

I suspect a lot of Americans believe British people are a cross between Hugh Grant, the Beatles & Monty Python....and they give us a lot of slack. Likewise some British see all Americans as a version of Trump.

What I don't really understand personally is why the 'British' are still perceived as being role models for vast regions of the world...or perhaps it is just a fantasy drummed into us by the BBC and successive English governments. Probably they just think we are rather sad, still hoping for the return of our Empire. But at least we still have the Falklands,,,what what!!

I believe the Aussie was probably referring to the weak strength of the American brew in Idaho....as in 'weak as pi55water'. I believe that certain states - pre Trump obviously - sold fairly weak strenght beer/lager. To Aussie & Britishers it would require a lot of the stuff to have the desired effect.

I suppose a 'delay' would be implicit if EMA required additional test data from FUM...is that what you are suggesting may be announced in September?

I'm not sure that's how EMA work. The approval when it does happen will be announced at the last minute - for it is price sensitive information. FUM can give us guidance on when they think approval may be awarded....but it would be a guess (possibly based on advice from their special advisor(s)). I'm not sure what form the EMA 'delay' you are expecting in September will take.
I thought you were involved in the pharma industry and had indepth knowledge of FDA & EMA process. It sounds a bit like wishful thinking to me.

Bucolic, I believe I said lasy week that anyone who predicts a certain price by a set date is being rather foolish. I don't know if Odysseus did that, I know he set a target of 10p at which he may invest....that would be perfectly reasonable. We all set limit orders on buying & selling shares.

To predict that a SP will definitely reach a set price by a certain day is absurd....unless one has advance knowledge of information that will move the SP up or down (which is illegal I believe).

If Oddysseus had predicted a 10p SP when the results are announced then it would also be absurd. He may expect /hope the SP drops to 10p or less so that he can buy FUM on or near 16th September.....but that's a little different to saying the SP will be 10p or less on 16th September.

Even chartists don't give such aburd predictions i.e. the SP will increase 66% within 2 weeks. Don't they talk about breaking resistance levels (22p I expect) and the probability of reaching target prices....but that is based on maths & academic fact/theory.

A touch of reality, FUM SP hasn't exceeded 25p since early Dec 2019....look at the chart, look at the drop.

To predict the SP would 'jump' to mid-twenties in a 2 week timeframe is absurd. I could sort of understand if he had linked it to the results in September - on the hope that there will be significant positive news - but Jonah didn't. It was just an absurd claim based on nothing more than bravado & bluster....and silliness of course!!

As I said a while ago...the longest 2 weeks in history.

Why do people set such silly deadlines...they only make themselves look foolish.

I can sort of understand when a politician makes an 'ambitious' - but clearly unobtainable - target, it focusses the minds of the minions and greater gains are often made then if the tough deadline didn't exist. But silly (& pointless) predictions of a certain price by a certain date just shows a foolish attitude & detroys all credibility e.g. the Jokers 108p prediction by 1st April (2020)....and now Jonah gets added to that sad list.
Even Mr Fibonacci would be bemused.
