Howey an excellent post, as you say the plant will produce plenty of gas either way. The sidetrack is just to speed things up thus improving the economics and hopefully the company value.

360 my point is that if we are exceeding production now, we will easily cover the hedge and some.So any extra over the hedge is like getting the full market price for a buffer.

360, exceeds our production rate" means we have spare cash"you don't sound very pleased for a shareholder imo.

CrudeTrader did you read the same RNS as everyone else, we have reached the October hedge so the gas is all unhedged for the remainder. Now that gives Angus plenty of cash as a buffer for what ever it's used for, it you can't see that you need an eye test or stop deramping???

adekela my thoughts exactly mate, the naysayers pounced on the drop in pressure for maintenance I see. Production up, beating hedge/making cash and don't need the sidetrack at last resort, I think the naysayers have run out of angles?

CrudeTrader the gas figures are the important news which is brilliant, a slight delay for the sidetrack is no big deal.

DRB I want to see what others think who have known you longer,unless you have something to hide of course.

DRB everyone knows what HITS is here and was laughed off the advfn site spouting crap for 5 years not invested. You will never have a debate with a person with their head in the sand, but do feel free to waste your time. If you are invested you have been warned about someone who is hell bent on wanting Angus to fail which others will back me.

DRB I don't have bad days on here, but you have a habbit of getting up various posters noses imo.

baits I see the two Angus know it all's can't answer a simple question, that should tell shareholders what they are.

Angus also have their eye on other gas assets which should be announced at some stage.
