just an observation, but over the last 5/6 years the y/e updates in April were all good positive updates...the bad ones were all out in Jan/Feb or March.So if ST keeps to the same theme we are due a good update very soon. Here's hoping, we will soon find out!

an email I received from ST when I asked the question,I'm sure he won't mind. Clarity; SRT partners carry out the installation under supervision. The exact structure of each project is slightly different, but in general the following is the case. SRT is contracted to supply all the equipment - PC's, video walls, servers, coast stations, vessel transceivers, brackets and even the cabling - as a turn key package which has been worked out based upon the customers specific requirements. Our local partner, with our training and support undertakes the installation. There are two parts to the system - the shore infrastructure such as the command and control room (GeoVS VIEWER and GeoVS HUB, coast stations etc) - and secondly the vessel transceivers. Typically we get paid an amount on signing of the contract, and then further amounts against milestones which are, shipping of the shore infrastructure, installation of the shore infrastructure and delivery (but NOT installation) of the vessel transceivers. This structure means we have no risk in regard to the time it may take to install thousands of transceivers which is where the complication can lie with these projects. The infrastructure is quick and easy to install, so for example the Bahrain contract, only signed in August, will have the complete command and control room installed and up and running by the end of December. As a general reference, I am delighted as to how our MDM system and project business is progressing - and that’s not me being optimistic.

SRT install the mdm system on land, screens wiring etc, they have teams ready for this, it's not a problem.The customer installs all the identifiers/class a/b etc onto the boats...SRT are paid on delivery. as I explained recently (13th March) there are no "huge" expansion costs and profits will be this next financial year not in 3 years time.

the important and exciting part for me is the recurring revenue that's included.Don't forget their partner Exactearth reckon they will be tracking 1 million boats in the next few years, and @ $3 -$5 per unit per month to SRT soon adds up.,Also the likes of India ($50m) about to kick off then yes "let the good times roll" SRT are still very much under the radar...sooner or later the herd will jump aboard!

all the production is outsourced to Flextronics in Hungary...They are massive and can ramp up production in a blink, so no worries there.As I said all they need now is more customer support people, engineer and manager. The costs of the company is about £10m a year and all they need as I said is a few extra employees..and at 50%+ margins everything above that £10m will add 50%+ to the bottom line..ie; a £30m revenue will give approx. £10m p/t profit.They have plenty of storage space at MSN for now and even if things went mental they can easily just rent more storage space...simple..al looking very good...more news is imminent too!
