well, the last few Rns's have hardly been news have they. We have all known they were coming so the impact was minimal to say the least. Maybe when the next ones come along it will be better as it will be an 'unknown' so to speak.
As you say skins it's sales and revenue that will make the difference. As we are in the private sector with hopefully much better margins, we don't need to sell that many to make a big difference to income.
I note clinicians and other experts reckon that pcr will always be around for accuracy if nothing else. Ygen have outlets in 60 + countries and many who might never see any of these new quicker tests.
I also note that antibody tests might not be that great either as they can't detect people who have had a milder form of Covid. Even the vaccines have many flaws atm. I think testing is here for the longer term and pcr will have a place going forward, and LR reckons Ygen's tech will still be relevant in the future.Who am I to argue!

Dandee. if any acquisition is accretive and makes good business sense then I have no problem with that. As long as there is some sort of positive conclusion to the plan by Dec 2021 then that'll do me. Of course others might have shorter timelines, and will do as they see fit.

Not long to wait for the end of the 5 year plan, whatever that is? As we stand right now an acquirer can bolt some $12/14M to their bottom line. If Ablock goes very well then it could be quite a bit more imo. Of course the Ablock renewals are the end of next year so fits in nicely with the 5 year plan . All depends what multiplier you want to use to get some sort of price for the business.

Yhal, I agree. TBH the update is just about as I expected but I did hope that if H1 was decent then they might bring the divi into play and not hide behind the previous statement of September. Visibility is good especially revenue for H2, so no reason for any more delay.

I still think I will wait another 12/15 months as I believe Ablock has some legs and will add quite a bit. I agree Scotty, if things are going well as Hall reckons then bring the divi forward.

yes Scotty, that's why I mention a Friday RNS is usually crap. Maybe that's what we will get, as they are in no rush it seems, another red flag for me.

whenever I look at ntldstats/namestat etc, all I see is red for the most part. We need some forward figures/guidance for A-block as I see this as the only thing that will get this going.
