Just sold half my holding for 22p/share profit and bought 40k in BP and 40K in Barclays. Just didn't feel comfortable having so much in Tullow anymore. Could be a mistake but I guess time will tell. Still pretty sure Tullow will come good but have a nagging doubt I can't shake off. Thoughts?

I am just curious as to whether people who cite from the font of knowledge, and state that they are buying on dips, have a clue as to where it will dip to, and then proceed to increase to, before they want to sell? Just seems to be a mantra in these rooms....."I am buying on dips and holding for gold"....get's boring. Especially when someone doesn't substantiate their rhetoric with any actual forecasts of their own.

Thanks Billyboy. I asked the question because you were advocating buying more if it dipped. It has dropped 5% on the open so I am curious as to whether you actually are buying any more because you truly believe of an actual target price to trade to or whether you're just talking the normal hyped up bllx that so many are fluent in in these forums. Surely, if you have the funds and it has dipped 5% then you see it as the opportunity to top up? That's if you truly believe it is going up to a price in mind of course..........

Reading posts in here it is almost guaranteed by some that 1p will be achieved today OR the UK market price will be worth 0.7p because the Aussies say so in their market.....If that was the case why is it stumbling around 0.43?
Take your profit and move on OR leave it alone for a punt for months or years......

Firstly; what do you think the sp should be right now, and where do you think it is heading down to, bearing in mind that you are short the market and you have done all your research and calculations?
Secondly; what is it that makes you feel the need to come here time after time and be abused and disliked so often?

sundezena...Forgive me but I sit on the sidelines mostly and have rarely got anything technically astute to add to the conversation BUT I have to say that having read through your posts I can't find proof that one of your 'post-drop bullish prophecies' has actually come true! Everytime there is a dip you say it will go back up because of some reason to a price we won't actually see for a while, but it never does! Unless you have a magical crystal ball why don't you just stop guessing/hoping and sit back and watch the people who know what they are talking about (lemming Et al) do their bit for all of us?
