Another glorious week ahead in the lives of the TLW faithful. To be honest, that's what we all need to keep, faith. This sp is being played BUT the fundamentals of the company are now stronger than they have been for years. If you can buy then do so. If you can't then hold what you have for the upcoming reporting in the next few short weeks. GLA

@Fly...All I can tell you is that some of us have lived with Tullow as a mistress for a while now down as low as 8p. She gives and takes BUT now she is much more than a recovery play and has nice long legs which she will stretch in time to come. A few of us (delusional perhaps) believers have £1-2 sp in the medium term as target exit points currently and with a fair wind and planets aligning correctly even higher. Keep the faith and don't treat her as a day trade stock unless you REALLY know what you're doing because like all good mistresses she will keep surprising you for her pleasure, not yours.

was that drawback in poo before or after it went back up through $73?

@Flyover. Thanks for this post but think you are selling yourself and TLW a bit short (no pun intended) regarding what to hold out for. The longer term potential here is much higher than 50p and having seen this twice in the mid 60s recently I feel pretty confident that half year results will accelerate the interest in, and growth of, TLW IMHO.

the sale went through at 7.20 and the purchase went through at 7.22 according to my Halifax Share Dealing screen.
I was surprised they both show as sells as I assumed it would be one of each. Luddite?

@Glenf....if it saves me the large amount of tax i hope it will then sacrificing 1000 shares is worth it......

tickles me that both the sale and purchase required to tfr £20,000 worth to my ISA went through as sells. proof you can't rely on the reporting system on here.

maybe a sign from the god's but have just transferred £20k worth to my ISA (275,000) in the hope it negates a rather large problem...........
