if they could leave a few (trading) hours between the good/bad news (in that order) it would be appreciated...!
yup, too nervous to sell with results on the way. Like many, bought on the dip and now sat on a 100p/share profit here. If results are good, bring on 350-400. If average (or tainted by other stuff) we can kiss goodbye to some of the gains for a while longer. Mid term should be just fine.
maybe - until then it remains a depressing situation for LTH. I've managed to average down in recent weeks (rightly or wrongly) to sub 40p but can't be bothered to chuck anything else into LLOY now until sentiment improves. Could be some big gains here at some point, but who knows when?!
Likewise, I'm back in at 275p. Looks cheap. Made 100%+ profit on TUI earlier this year - can see a repeat cycle here as 2nd wave panic subsides - but good luck rarely strikes twice, so will probably drop this time round! Fun and games, GLA
Tides are certainly shifting and I'm sure investors will come flooding back here - we are still trading at c. 50% of the high we saw last June. Looking forward to some good returns here in next 12-18 months.
very tempting I agree, need to decide what to do about IAG rights issue first though and see what spare cash I've got left over. A belated comment - but agree with others - very weird RNS after the ORCP meeting, person that wrote it needs to be sacked IMO. All looking very promising though and never though we'd be back in the 0.7's
Shocked the SP is still 0.8p - Friday not far away. I think we are onto a winner here folks. The market cap is ridiculous for a project of this size and it's looking increasing likely that it will go ahead now. I might start to defrost the champagne.
Yup not too shabby. I'm taking a similar strategy here - just got in/out with a 18.6% profit in less than a month. Could rise further of course, but nothing wrong with a quick profit every now and then. Wouldn't be surprised if SP drops back next week.
Decent start indeed - was out walking when RNS landed last week. Kind of wish I'd grabbed another 1m shares at 0.6, so well done to those who had the bAlls to do that! Looking very positive now
I'm holding on tight, but won't be adding any more just yet even at these bargain prices. I recall something on the Proactive interview about NM not getting much sleep and that everything she can do on this has been done. Also that as far as she is aware all the requirements for the LOI have been met. Company directors are not allowed to lie about that sort of stuff, so lets hope its merely a waiting game.
My guess is 1 for 1 @ 20% discount to whatever the SP is at the nominated date, which I hope is £2+, Bear in mind, SP often corrects itself after RIs, so maybe we could see SP fall to 160p before the recovery starts. Vaccine news shortly after the RI might be helpful to lock in any benefits. Without wanting to teach grandma how to suck eggs (i.e. for any trading newbies) the best thing to do is to punch the numbers into a spreadsheet and play around with a few scenarios using average SP of shares already held as your fixed parameter. Then vary predicted SP at point RI kicks in, predicted discount offered and the ratio etc. You will then be able to decide what action is best for you once we know more. If in doubt google it as there are probably free online tools that will do the number crunching for you.
oh, and if more positive vaccine news before RI, then discounted price at that time could of course be more than current SP. Tricky!
My plan is to hold tight (average 219), wait for the RI and then take full advantage. As many people have said, this company will return to strength - perhaps sooner than many are predicting. It will only take one or two decent sets of results (when the time comes, who knows when that is!) Looking at the current market cap, an offer of 1 new share for every 1 held - at say a 20% discount , would sit OK with me. At sub 200p I doubt there would be any major damage if you wanted to up your stake before the RI, but based on experience of other RIs, be careful! I've always found it's better to wait to see the details.
Has the bubble burst here or is this a temporary blip before a ride up to 350p. place your bets folks
Will be interesting to see how quickly they burn through these £100k chunks. In theory, it should be slowly if we are merely waiting for an LOI (just salaries, teas/coffees etc.) but costs will stack up if they are paying for feasibility studies on other projects. Start of rant. I used to check this board daily, but now it's twice a week. I've made 45% profit in BOO in the last month, so could have sold here last month, bought more BOO shares, and been back here again by now! Maybe we should contact NM directly in future to bolster our holdings - can I have another 10m, for....er 0.4 each please? I would happily sell those the next day for say 0.6. Rant over. But always tempting to buy more at sub 0.7 as SP seems to be pretty stable compared to most other shares at the moment. Still pretty sure this will come good, and maybe it's fair that a £1.5m warrants some form of discount. Patience. GLA
....and with potential now building, I struggle to see why we haven't seen more upwards movement on the SP
Once again, I find myself partially agreeing with Baldy on this one. Any company that can't set up and operate a quality management system (where there is good reason to do so) probably doesn't deserve to be in business. But it's a tick in the box. The more significant bit in here for me, is the bit about FUM appointing specialist advisors to support commercial negotiations - should be music to our ears - JB now understands that FUM would benefit from support in this area. It looks like they are doing all the right things in the right order - very encouraging!
I would usually say 'risky strategy' to this, but maybe not on this one. GL
yup - the trend is (probably) up for next 6-8 weeks at least. 280 seems to be history, clear run to 300 now?
I think you have a pretty decent strategy there, and you may reach your goals in September if we don't have any more bad news flow to slow the momentum. GL
