Yeh right muggins here believed the hype( next best thing to sliced bread, huge expected demand with battery powered future technology) a few years ago and bought lots of shares in Rare Earth Minerals later to become Cadence minerals .What a joke that was finally bailed on that shower in March last year having lost £2.5k a painful lesson learnt on my part!

With regards to your post Tom E about NS&I savings accounts, they were a great place to place your spare cash paying well above the rest with regards to interest rates, Just a word of warning from the 24th/Nov they are radically reducing the interest rates they pay. The direct saver you refer to is going from 1% to 0.15%. The Income bonds which again provided an easy access means of savings are going from 1.16% to a derogatory 0.01%. Come the middle of November my cash is on the move away from NS&I .

Hence why LL is back.

Made the mistake of buying into Rockhopper as my first ever Share deal back in 2010 on the hype of the sea lion flow tests and the promise of vast riches to eventually follow.
24/9/2010 bought 400 shares at £5.0675
Price started to drop and I made the newbie mistake of thinking it can't go much lower, before a bounce.
13/10/2010 bought another 770 shares at £3.871

Been sitting on the best part of a £5k loss for years. An expensive lesson was learnt on my part.

Got better things to do than spending my time for another weekend reading dross, wind ups and insults on here again. A fair end to an interesting week in the GGP saga, have a nice weekend all. Back on Monday.

Totally agree STOUT i have an account with H/L and their alleged "live price" is way out. Currently showing a sell price of 19p and yet I can place a dummy trade at 20.203 p. Their service is getting worse
