Having been here for over 15 years with a considerable sum ‘down the pan’ for so long, I started buying in tranches early March 25.

Since then I’ve cashed in my main pension and reinvested it all plus more in the Rock.

How’s that for confidence?

Any sub 80’s dip is a no brainer for me now.

If this all goes to plan I’ll be a very happy boy and at 58 now I’ll be selling up in a couple of years and my business too.

If it doesn’t…. 🙈

Anyway, I had a plan for this day but didn’t expect it to be today’s day.

I’ve been buying heavily since April after not buying for about last 13 years.

So stopped buying a few weeks ago with the plan to put no more in until FID if it was successful and would be happy anywhere in the 90’s.

I’m now in for a little short of £250k 🤞

Because of my ‘habit’ as my Mrs calls it I happened to read the RNS just 10 mins after release.

Then it all went tits up (or did it?)

I’m about to press ‘buy’ with £25k when my phone went flat ! 😫😭

I was so excited a moment ago and now red faced and P. D off.

By the time I looked again, it’s dropping like a knife!🔪

Then remembered. I've read everything, I’ve followed everything, I’ve lurked in the background reading 1000’s of posts. Has anything changed? No! We’ve got FID! It’s actually after 15 years of slow water torture going to happen!😜💥

So I made 3 trades for £25k all around .80 p 👍😁 almost 20p lower than what I would have been happy to pay.

Can’t believe it!

So it will be a bottle of Rothschild tonight. and a smug smile for at least a week.

I’m certainly in till first oil and can relax now knowing I have done the right thing.
