Not a takeover... investment @ 29.9%... they said they don't plan a takeover... all very strange but happy to take some of the minimal float here.

Got some at 43... after posting. See how it goes... surely 70p today once the news gets out there via FOOT rns?

Tempted - trust JD to prevent a nice cheap re-entry... need rns from FOOT surely? "JD Sport take over 8% of FOOT at 50p a share..." and they will want a return on that if its an investment...

Must have taken FOOT by surprise? Looks interesting... what have they seen? Will they be advising FOOT as a "major investor" once they have 29.9%? What will the freefloat be? Lots of research to do...

WTF is that huge trade on the foot? £4.3m at 50p when price was 35p?

Took some below 14 this morning... the sellers clearing is what the market was waiting for... look at cash position and then decide... for starters ;)

Been told to avoid that one for trading... for one reason or another... so didn't use them.

Taken a chunk this morning of the TLY now sellers / transfer of shares done.

To those worried / unsure / want to know more - Im guessing you will - rather than post on here - actually ring into the investor conference call and perhaps ask the company direct. Maybe even be brave enough to broach the subject of salary sacrifice for shareholder good?

Wonderful invention that... the telephone... lets you talk direct with the company you've invested in... unless of course... you haven't and just like drama hence you post here. IMO.

I think ADV have an offer on if you call them asking to give them your money - but best deal required 12 months payment upfront (well 9 months as get 3 free if you do that). Ask for free trial for a month.
