My guess patch is to be able to manipulate the SP. They will be able to short it and buy back etc. Small cap stock that has nothing going for it. That's why I think they have bought in. With enough shares the can sell short, buy back, rinse repeat and each % can be big bucks. These groups aren't exactly big O&G investors. Bucket shops.

That's because every RNS they release is waffle and regurgitated old news rehashed. ADL have nothing. The only way this will rise on an RNS is if they release one saying deal done, diggers on site building a plant. I just don't see that happening though.

Well it seems that the BB has descended into nonsense. Just like the share its attached to. Doesn't seem to have one sane poster left. Guess that is because nobody sane would stay here or invest.......

You are correct. But you would need an awful lot of shares to be able to successfully sell them all and push the price down enough to profit from buying them back again and then have SP rise to repeat. Also the spread here is awful - it makes that even more unlikely as you couldn't win on the spread. That post specifically states computerised trading. Thats what I was referring to with the AT. Also you can see clear as day that nobody is selling and buying massive amounts to short this like that. Trades/Volume is poor. So again this stock is not being shorted by anyone - maybe people have spreadbets on, who knows - but not shorted. Its just unloved.

It also doesnt apply here - ADL is not being shorted - not in the sense laid out in that post. For one there are no AT trades on ADL, all O. The reason its down here is the market doesnt like it, and there is very little positive sentiment. Its not a conspiracy. ADL just haven't delivered. Look how many trades are reported today! Clear as day there isnt any appetite. So nice story but misguided.

DW is far from world class. Everyone knew the gas to power would take a while but I, and many many others, expected him to deliver something! All the talk of assets etc, nothing has come of it. He has delivered JACK ALL since coming on board but spent a shiiiitload of SH money. Here is my prediction - DW will retire before anything gets done here. Hows that for "world class board" Seeing as you are gloating at those who bought in CEB - please tell the board your average so everyone there can gloat when your deep underwater and in a loss too.

Maybe look up what an asset is? An MOU or agreement is not an asset. A car is an asset. A house is an asset. A piece of land is an asset. A power plant is an asset. ADL has nothing. If they went bankrupt now they have nothing to sell - hence no assets. A piece of paper with an MOU on it is worthless! Seriously stop putting false information out there about this. ADL may well have value one day, but not until there is actual groundwork underway and construction in place. Just saying they are going to do it isnt the same as doing it. Just look at DW history of talk vs action this far.... I dont yet see what ADL can bring to the table financially to reap great rewards - if Pert/Siemens/ADL go three ways on a project they will each be responsible for a split of cost - ADL dont have massive funds. So big dilution? Or are they going to contribute nothing more than tech knowledge? If thats the case they will only get a consultancy fee back in return, not ongoing cut of profits! Would you give someone an equal cut of a deal if all they did was turn up to meetings and not pay their way?

Morning Mama You may be right with the clustering but the fact is it is not an ADL asset but Pertamina. ADL used TOE as an asset to return to market, indeed their entire prospectus was based on it, but then decided to hand it back after wasting all that time and money on it. They apparently had rigs selected and sites planned out to drill when they came out of suspension, remember? Hot air and bluster ADL have no assets. Thats what I was trying to point out to Brainers post.

Assets? Please clarify what assets ADL have? I cant recall them saying they have any assets at all? They had an asset - TOE - but they gave that away....
