so basically Cineworld has been telling us lies all this time, why did they not tell us the truth before starting the proceedings for bankruptcy and they should have told us that they would not be getting out of this, now I have lost a lot of money hoping they would get out
of this
I believe they will continue but the value of the shares may drop to something like 1 p and then then going back to 100p would take like a lifetime
"The Proposed Restructuring does not provide for any recovery for holders of Cineworld's existing equity interests". what does it mean? does it mean? is it that the present shareholders cannot expect anything good out of this? lf so why shold anyone hold the shares
If Mookie and us shareholders are going to loose all why is Mookie trying to save the company by losing all his family assets, I do not believe he will do a deal whereby he and his family lose everything, the fact they are holding the core part of the company means they will emerge from this bankruptcy
what was supposed to happen today and when
so what price can we expect for this share?
what should the present share holders do and expect?
what will happen to the old share holders, will we lose all?
Thanks Dimicho and antlev, in this desperate time, some glimpse of hope is very welcome, I can wait even 2 yrs as long as there is hope of not losing all my investment. Cineworld share was such a sure winner for me that this really came as a shock
Is there any chance of it going that high (£2), all we hear is bankruptcy, dilution, difficult to even imagine 20p at the moment, I bought at £1 and now I have lost almost all. Lots of sleepless nights and loads of worry
Bankruptcy was only one of the options not a certainty and the share ran down from 30 to 2, which was definitely an over reaction. As long as there is no clear indication that the company will actually file bankruptcy, the share should be trading higher, I cannot see how the banks would lend so much money to Cineworld if there wasn't a good business case. So I believe many are taking advantage here and pushing the price down
Is there any hope for this share, I went all in and now I have lost all my savings, is there the slightest of hope that this share will survive and I might get something back. I am losing out big time but so will the banks if it goes under
thanks, I dont live in UK, I got scared
why is the share price not updating, has Cineworld gone bankrupt or is there any other explanation
has Cineworld got bust or its suspended?
