Perhaps we need to ask MC which part of the site the geologists were looking at? Likely as not it won't be La India, but up and down the two 'corridors' he talks about. Condor has many prospects in the district, with us 'drowning in drill targets'. I do think that not enough has been made of the wider potential and now as we come closer to constructing a plant, then the potential for us to feed/expand that plant grows. Many of the prospects are also near to surface and thus lower cost extraction.

And does the new chancellor have new incentives for O&G companies in his little red bag today?

So are the geologists from these financiers or from some other investors? MC certainly has gone into sales mode with the rapid growth in potential oz. With gold and silver being fixed in dollars the bugs are losing at the moment. However, when you try get such a price for the physical, well that's a different story. Few would wish to be in the dollar at the moment, it's far too strong and will come under attack imho. As we get closer to production then the timing of the resurging Au price should help us. 3/4 months for finance? I'm puzzled too by this.

Just speculation on my part, but we have long operated under the watchful eyes of the Chinese and have always thought that would be the end-game, since I joined here many years ago following a tip from The Teacher. I am not currently in touch with him, so no longer get news from Almaty.
New routes to market are clearly being explored, since Putin kicked off in Ukraine. The men from the east having ambitions and deep pockets, will likely as not greatly assist with new infrastructure but will want something in return. Tengiz is not on the table, but Son of Tengiz might. Averaged up again recently thinking that we may get a surge after next week's update, just for a short term trade. No longer expecting my R8 from here, but hoping for a decent return in what is a difficult market. Very best of luck to all long termers here.

So Casp to farm out The Deeps to the Chinese, in return for some capital to pay for wind farms.......not sure if that's a good deal or not, but seems we need someone to get those monster deeps flowing?
