No further rush to trade today with investors eagerly awaiting details of how many of the excess allocation gets granted. I'm hopeful of another basinful.

At this point squeaky, perhaps the vultures circling don't want to pay Jim's asking price, but when the value of Au is seen to be climbing to an appropriate level, then they might meet his price? My view is the value of gold will climb resulting in a sale around 60p.

Just watched the M & M interview and clearly MC is indicating the positive levels of interest. Being asked to look at other assets "in South America" then might this be a part of a merger with an existing producer? He certainly seems to be stressing though that all the funds will be passed to investors, so a total sale is the most likely outcome.

So that means that investors are going to fill their boots with the Open Offer?

I'm guessing the directors will be able to participate as long as they're not privy to some extra information. Wouldn't be surprised to see an NDA break ranks with a first offer before Christmas, or as has been said they'll wait for the first mover. Much will depend on the current momentum in Au being maintained, plus of course politics. Anyway, I've a couple of busy days and don't want to miss the deadline, so excessive application at 15p been submitted.

Clearly both Sanofi and Johnson & Johnson, who were unsuccessful, are amongst others of a group with the ability and willingness to snaffle up and coming pharmas with new tech.

Of course, there would be no third parties buying on info and on behalf of a large pharma?

Private investors are much more cautious at the moment, as seen by levels of activity in every stock. If there's no leak, then we will not see any substantial movement till the actual day of the rns. But there will be one hell of a stampede either way when the news hits. It's a red or black moment, but I expect to win here.
