this is what I have been saying. The had £8k cash in the bank end of September (and £1.5m debt).

So there will need to be a massive and very dilutive equity placement, just to make the investment. That by itself does not mean that it is a good investment.

Thats quite a bit of money to spend on this massively speculative share.

The share price is determined by demand and supply. Not by someone deciding what the share price should be at all times of the day. Imagine if it was.......

MM's dont really have a mechanism by which they can "walk down to placing price on Monday"

Marketmakers earn money on the spread. They dont care if a share is going up or down, and neither can they influence this.

This is the SCGL board, but since you brought up ROCK, the placing announced monday I think it was, but today was revealed that is was 5x over subscribed so they issued additional shares to satisfy demand. Of course this cause additional dilution. Not great, but at least the shares are in high demand.

Only where will the money come from? A hugely dilutive placing of course.

And even then it's not guaranteed that this so called investment will bear any fruits.

21.9 gram/ton

105,120,000 grams of GE

105,120 kg of GE

At say $4000/kg that is worth $420 million. Thats just the germanium. Without the zinc, the silver, and whatever else they have in the ground at Molaoi.

Can you not understand that you needed to hold shares in order to get the placing shares? Therefore you can sell the share that you held, yes? Knowing that you will get placing shares on Monday.

This is called forward selling the placing shares. You are not selling the placing shares today. You are selling the shares you already had, instead of the placing share that you will receive.

Not sure how to explain it to you any other way.
