VOD has traditionally had a high level of debt. Management have never done anything about it, as its not a concern. And quite frankly I don't think it's a concern. VOD is a cash machine. Only derampers will quickly point to the debt load as something particularly concerning, when in reality its not.

What's stopping this from going sub 5p? The sp is a tragedy. Where is the value here, what's going to catalyse this?

The special is a bonus and everyone should see it as such. Even without it, the div is still 10% and very well covered.
Yes the sp could go down more, but look at the bigger picture and how much it has already adjusted.

Why is there so many comments on this board everyday when this share is an absolute dog. I need like a 60 percent rise to break even. People talk of havieron as if its the best thing since sliced bread and yet the sp has and keeps collapsing.

Skindle, the reason the sp is going up is because the market is realizing that this has been beaten way further than it ever should have been. I expect further adjustment upwards but what do I know.

There is no catalyst whatsoever for this to go any higher than it is currently. That it went to 8p was just pure speculation and FOMO.
Nothing has changed here. Would not be suprised for it to go back to 2p, and then see creditors or an activist fund paying a $ for it and selling it off bit by bit for a handsome profit.

There is no way on earth netflix or anyone else will pay £3 per share. If we are lucky they take it out for 3p maybe.
Think of the debt they would need to be prepared to take on.

Classic pump and dump. Likely back to 2p soon. But not for long. Creditors will get a great deal, us shareholders, not so much.

Why on earth would Netflix, if they were interested in Cineworld, pay any sort of premium over the current share price of say 6p. There is no good reason to do so, they dont have to.
CINE could be bought out by Netflix for 1p, given the amount of debt Netflix would need to take on, this would be a good deal for Cine as it would increase its certainty of survival.
Anyone who thinks any suitor would pay a premium to the sp is deluded.

I don't see any savings accounts that pay anywhere near 4%.
