Passing ships in the night, it's just after midnight in the North Pacific. The QE is a towering (56m high) floating majestic hotel able to carry up to 2500 passengers in opulence. Little do they know that the rugged-looking cargo boat out to port is carrying the key elements that will keep the London AIM afloat for the next few years. Titus is moving out in the open ocean, picking up speed as she makes her way from North to Central America.

A special moment for the crew of Titus (who are probably Filipino) as they have just had to move aside in the shipping channel, existing Vancouver outer harbour, to allow the Queen Elizabeth Liner to go through ahead of them.

JB, I've done a few things in my 75 years and am still busier than many.

Some years ago, I was involved with the Golden Hinde Trust (a replica of the original ship) in dry dock, close to Borough Market/London Bridge. I think this would be a fitting place for a celebration. I'm proposing that when (or shortly after) MTL confirms production at La India (circa Q3 2026), I will arrange suitable celebratory drinks (to be discussed later) for members on this board. Who knows, I might be able to get someone from MTL to attend.

Titus didn't dock; she just anchored in the middle of Vancouver Port. Probably to change over the crew, as it is close to a major international airport, and the next leg will take two weeks. Everything is on schedule.

The vessel is en route to the port of Corinto, Nicaragua, sailing at a speed of 12.7 knots and expected to arrive there on Aug 25, 06:00. The vessel TITUS (IMO 9195470, MMSI 236325000) is a General Cargo Ship built in 2006 (19 years old) and currently sailing under the flag of Gibraltar.

She's safely anchored. I'll let you know when she is scheduled to leave the port area, followed by eta Nicaragua when they file the transit documents.

Titus is just outside the entrance to Vancouver and will be passing through the Jaun Fuca Strait later today on schedule.

The current position of TITUS is off the West Coast of North America. The vessel is en route to Nicaragua via the port of Vancouver, Canada, sailing at a speed of 11.3 knots with 546nm to go and expected to arrive at Vancouver Port on Aug 10, 03:00.

Titus is now motoring along at 12 knots, so may arrive at the waypoint of Vancouver Saturday evening local time.

Most members on this board are well-informed about MTL. We are here to gain knowledge and thereby an advantage over others who "can't be bothered" to do the research or contribute. I have no problem with posters questioning others' assumptions and forecasts, as the more informed the debate, the better we can understand the risks involved in any particular investment. However, posters should consider that each investor has different reasons and timelines for investing. Furthermore, "promoters" who actively praise the benefits of "competitive" stocks, I believe, should be ostracised. Add to the debate by using your knowledge to help others make informed decisions, or keep your thoughts to yourself. Those new to investing or the company in question, please stay tuned and ask questions; some members have vast experience and have done considerable research on the company. The more you know, the lower the risk when it comes to investing your hard-earned money.

I've been researching the Dupax situation. Darren was right to say that it was on the Head of DENR's desk at the time of his interview, but he had only just taken on the role, coincidentally on his birthday. However, the new Secretary is known to be pro-mining and would have had a lot on his plate initially. The Philippines' gov website states.

"Secretary Raphael P.M. Lotilla formally assumed leadership of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) during a turnover ceremony on Monday, 16 June 2025".

This RNS confirms that Titus is carrying the cargo, as it was the only cargo ship that left Nome on that day. She is traveling at a steady speed of 10 knots and will need to take on board more fuel in Vancouver. Titus will pass from the Bering Sea to the Pacific Ocean through the Aleutian Islands chain overnight (daytime locally), about 1600nm from Vancouver. On its way to sunnier climes.

Darren stated that the mine equipment would be underway by the end of July. Assuming Titus is carrying La India Cargo, it is indeed on its way, having left Nome a few minutes before midnight local time. Currently traveling at 10.9 knots and has 2,300 nm to go to reach its waypoint of Vancouver in 8 days.

We should therefore expect to receive a media notification shortly.

Another contender to be the ship carrying the cargo would be Cetus Cachalot (I like this ship name as it rhymes with cash-a-lot), which is due to arrive in Corinto Port, Nicaragua, in 8 days.

Titus leaving Nome and headed south for Vancouver eta there 8 days.

It's a well-known effect in investing. If prices rise on Monday without any external news, they usually backtrack on Tuesday. It has nothing to do with fundamentals.

Nome Port is 9 hours behind London time, so it's currently around 5:30 am their time. Titus left the port late Sunday and anchored 4nm outside the port (incidentally close to a tanker that left around the same time). It is not unusual for cargo ships, which have small crew numbers, to anchor after having a busy few days loading, so that all the crew can get a good night's rest. I expect we'll see the ship raise anchor soon and transit to Nicaragua.

I'll keep you posted on Titus' location daily from now on.

We should be able to track the ship as it leaves today on its approx 5000nm journey. I estimate, at its average speed Titus should take about 22 days.
