Gold and silver have skyrocketed towards today's close. Looks like USA may attack Iran very soon. Interesting day for the pm's and miners tomorrow.

Today's BBC: Keir Starmer has arrived in China for a three-day visit - the first time a UK prime minister has visited the country since 2018.

The UK government has finally realised that UK needs to put itself first and not suck up to the USA. Europe had also signed the mother of all trade deals with India. If the USA wants to go down the road of making America great again, then Europe will do the same. Stronger deals with the rest of the world will benefit RR.

With regards to defence spending, I reckon that NATOs days are numbered. The whole of Europe will now look to it's own defence needs. In this respect, RR should benefit. I'm hoping that a China trade deal announcement will bring good news for RR.

Excellent results. Silver like gold is becoming more and more difficult to find and it takes years to come to production following a find. This is what makes Fresnillo so valuable. Plus, with the gold price rising so much, this makes the Probe purchase a bargain.

My Friday close prediction/guess is Hoc at 800p.

The Rolls Royce share price is moving nicely in an upward diagonal channel. Imo, Rolls Royce will massively benefit from the geopolitical world we live in today. NATO is no longer a certainty. We have embargoes galore, weaponisation of the dollar, unnecessary wars. Imo, many European countries are going to boost their defence spending, but will not turn to the USA given it's maga first policy. England will naturally turn to Rolls Royce for defence. I'm a happy shareholder.

The headline of the article is 'Speculative frenzy catapults silver above $100/oz'. Lol.

The article is pure anti-silver and reads to me like a desperate and feeble attempt to talk the price down.

Further down, the article contradicts itself but saying 'The market's performance in 2025 was underpinned by robust investment demand for all precious metals'.

A little further down, the article says 'Several waves of active retail buying through purchases of small bars and coins as well as inflows into physically backed silver exchange-traded funds have added to buying since October, according to analysts.'

Imo, retail buyers haven't realised what's going on with silver - the silver price action is totally missing from mainstream news. Once the retail investor or average guy on the street realises that silver is real money and a safe investment, then silver telly will get going.

The Fresnillo SP is taking a breather - this is very healthy. Straight up is usually followed by straight down. Precious metals will never be so cheap imo. Today's RNS on top of this further cements Fresnillo future.

Omg. I googled the 'US Mint' and it's true. Silver has been revalued $80 higher by the US mint. Can't wait till tomorrow.

Broker views aside - the case for the Fresnillo SP going higher is so strong. Demand is far outstripping supply. Fresnillo is the worlds biggest silver producer and the demand isn't going to go down for the foreseeable future - possibly never again.

The silver price has been suppressed by the fake paper market which trades 1000s times more silver daily than is produced in a year. This seems to be unraveling.

The demand for silver in EV's, infrastructure, solar, electronics, AI, data centres, and defense is growing yearly. There is a massive scramble by USA, China, and Europe for rare earth minerals, which now includes silver.

I'm happy to be onboard the Fresnillo ship and well-done to all shareholders. Looking forward to my retirement, which is very soon.

NWG is up 130p in the past six months. That's a great run. The SP is taking a breather before the next leg up imo.

If you believe the Silver price is going much higher, then I can't see the logic in selling your Fresnillo shares for now.
